Let's see, wild asparagus is like "store bought" asparagus but simly grow wild, uncultivated, in open, unused fields. It does take the right soil and moisture conditions, but it is delicious with a much fuller and richer flavor. The most valued ones were, at most, six inches long and a half or
three quarters of an inch in diameter. Tender and soooooo much wonderful flavor.
Too many songs, music, pop into my head - Classical Gas (Mason Williams), Leila (Eric Clapton), Hotel California (Eagles). Cats in the Cradle (Harry Chapin), Theme from Cats (Streisand), Tramp Shining (Richard Harris), Sloop John B (Beach Boys), Theme from Titanic (Celine Dion), Star Wars Theme (John Williams), Quiet Village (Enoch Light) and I could just keep on going.
