Here's a silly horse video to give you a laugh. The horse looks young to me, probably between one year old and 2, so that's why he's being so playful and silly.

WOW! something is wrong with the servers here. Everything is extremely slow. I tried several times to post some suggestions on the new users part of the forum and it took forever. Also logging on was very slow.
I'm getting in a game or two of solitaire waiting for the screen to refresh.
I think it is acting better now, I just posted a few comments on the new users forum. Probably a mouse crapped in the server. 
I'm having the same problem. My computer goes to sleep before the new screen comes up. Other sites work fine, though, so it's an ECF problem, not my computer.

Deb, horses don't usually put trash cans over their head, or this video wouldn't be news. Most horses, if you tried to put that can in its head, would freak out.

ok looks like I fixed it.....good girl alice......she ate all the mice.....
Radioactive counter tops, hidden hazards in vaping, bomb threats from terrorists, life is an adventure, no one gets out alive 
I guess if they got the granite from a site near a uranium mine, it might not be good for counter tops. They might have received a little hint when they turned out the kitchen lights and their counter glowed in the dark

Good morning Volties! Rise and shine!! Looks like I'm first up so hot water and coffee's on also I made french toast again.
Not only dealing with a slow ECF forum response but boy did we have some wild weather last night. Heavy rain and thunderstorms rolled through with a tornado watch in effect. No reported sightings but the atmosphere was ripe for it.
Yesterday's temp was in the upper 70s and today we're in the 40s. I'm hoping the sun will come out and warm up some.

Speaking of mouses, something ate a quarter of the lettuce in the greenhouse. I told Hubby put out some traps. He thought a gopher was digging it's way in but it turned out to be a kangaroo rat. That little devil won't be eating any more lettuce.
Hubby wants to go fishing next weekend so I told him he has to get lots done today

I just got a "gateway timeout" trying to go back one page here on Chit Chat to see what I missed from last night. I think the mice are gumming up the works. I also wonder is it has anything to do with the number of pages in this particular thread. A few other I checked this morning loaded fairly normally, maybe a little slow, but no timeout. I guess we're too verbose!

Very astute, JoAnn. It's still slow here, and you're right -- the survey coincided, so it might be connected. How do they expect us to want to take a survey with things this slow? I won't.

I logged on last night, saw the survey, did that, then tried to come visit you all. Page wouldn't load. I tried a couple more times over the next two hours, then gave up. It's still acting odd this am.
