Ciego,

A day of no responsibilities. That's what *I* want anyway. Give her a day where her every meal is provided, she need not pick up a thing to clean or cook or work in anyway. Some flowers, yes. A love poem or a card, yes. But give the gift of relaxation and adoration and you can't go wrong. :)

Amen to that my sista!!!!

Well, a nice secluded cabin would be nice but I don't know how much hassle it would be for you both being in unfamiliar surroundings.

You could have a nice candlelit dinner and hire a violinist or cellist to play beautiful music for you (or even a harpist for that matter). See if you have a local youth orchestra nearby. My daughter was in 2 youth orchestras - these teenagers are good and they need the money. Many play at weddings and other events.

Horse and buggy ride? We have them here but it's Philadelphia - of course we do. They are so romantic. Nice warm blanket, bottle of champagne - it won't soon be forgotten ciego, guaranteed.

Hey everyone,

I read the previous 10 pages trying to catch up on everyone's lives.
Praying for Chris' mom
KBV looks like business is doing well- congrats!
Trish- joining the gym is an awesome thing.
I hope that everyone is doing okay. I have a kidney stone but it's in my bladder, so it shouldn't be around for too much longer.

@ Enid, this too shall pass. God bless as you heal.

@ BiancaMontgomery: She gets that every day. LOL I'm a very attentive husband. Oh gosh...now I'll have to move into the Romantic, Get Away thread...but it's true. Mrs. Ciego and I are constantly doing little things for each other. I get coffee in bed nearly every morning, I cook supper every night. We're constantly pausing to give each other little massage breaks, or long embraces.

The other ideas are pretty good too. The cabin? The nearest resort with winter accomodations would be a 3.5 hour drive (we don't drive), so that's out. Violinist? Hmmmm...sounds very nice.

Well, fortunately I have a few weeks until Valentine's Day. I'll let you know what I decide to do...but please, keep the suggestions coming. TIA.

Morning gang... Just had to pop in and let all the great PIFers know that after you guys got boB & yssiM that great surprise I went and bought me a Turbo AV. I had been looking at mods, but could not decide on what I wanted, but after I heard about vaprlife cutting a deal for the present that made up my mind. I, like many of you I am sure, prefer to do business with companies that are involved with their customer base and care about the people, not just the money.

Anyway, after talking to boB about his impressions on the Turbo I just went and did it! NOW for some SERIOUS mail woman stalking!

aww /comfort keyz

I experienced a headache for about 2 weeks when I was pregnant, it was excruciating and I was just plain miserable. My OB/GYN saw me and I mentioned it and I got chastised for not calling her up sooner, she gave me something and literally 15 min after I took it my 2 week long headache was gone, just like that. I cried with relief...it was a great day lol

Anyway I hope your headache goes away :(

*hug*
