Good Morning everyone,

I go to get my hair did today. I hate being trapped in a chair for 2-3 hours talking to the same person, plus I'm taking my hair 8 shades lighter (or that's the plan).

My roomie is outside feeding the ducks and geese that have taken up residence at the retention pond behind our house. I think that the noise is a combo of duck/geese happiness and fowl on fowl violence. The 8 lb, old, deaf poodle wants a duck BAD. She doesn't know what she wants to do to it but she wants it. I think that she'd try to hump it (or as we say, "put the paw down").

Man...I missed a lot...been so deep in the Genesis threads that I haven't read much else in some time. Well, that and schoolwork. Shame it's clear over on the east side of PA. If it was in Steelerstown, I may have been able to make an appearance. I should really put more effort into organizing some kind of meet around here. I've met a handful of people on ECF in my area and it would be fun to see them in person. Of course, we need to decide whether it's going to rain, snow, sleet, tornado, or be 78 degrees out first. Stupid weather. We're going through a different season every day right now...

I hear you, Boris, things fly by. I've been keeping an eye out on the Reuters live forum on ...ushima.

Funny stuff how it edits ...ushima. Honestly, I've tried to make myself cold to the whole thing over there - or harden my heart as the Bible would say it. It's the whole serenity prayer thing. I can't change it. I'm not in any kind of position to help in any way (believe me when I say I looked into it deeply), and however it affects me, I doubt I will have a say in it. Now if they have an urgent need for some DIY juice or some capable hands for building PVs, I'll get on it.

Of course, I try to learn what I can from it. That tends to be my goal - to glean any kind of useful information from any source I can.

EDIT - Have I been catatonic? This seems like some kind of rerun. A new earthquake/tsunami, and there's a fresh Gulf of Mexico oil situation, too? Some strange deja vu going on there.
