I guess it could be the lower ohms that i picked up. and possibly some of the ones that are 2.6-2.8 are lower...

I would suggest going to Joogler juice and ordering a box of dual coil cartomizers. Yes they are low resistance, but the will not burn (if you keep them wet).Black - 1.5 Ohm Dual Coil Cartomizers You will get to choose a free bottle of juice. When the cartomizers come in, fill them until they start to drip out the bottom (good idea with any cartos). Blow out the middle. You should be able to see through the carto.

If you fill these in the morning (or night) two or three will last you all day. You can switch flavors by just unscrewing one and putting another on. I keep the condoms on the ends so I can keep them in my pocket.

Oh I have duals- LOVE them- but they cut my battery life in half- and i am sooo over the cotton thing... I refuse to use them. they DO better on the Riva's then the Ego's.. But its still way too fast on sucking up batteries.

So I switched to the fluxo's. usually LOVE them- but today I just kept getting burned... LOL

Maybe it is the ohm thing. If so, I will put up the rest of the lower ones, and stick with the 2.8's. or maybe it was just the humidity, the way the moon was positioned, or the fact that I just took on a HUGE project that is whippin me

I use rivas & 2.4/2.6 & 2.6/2.8 Fluxo's

& have never gotten a burned flavor ...
there really is NOT anything to burn ????

are your coils all gunked up ?
the gunk might be burning....
mine usually won't get hot enough to produce vapor if gunky...

you rinse & dry burn coils & rinse again......right ?

the 2.4-2.6 do get hot kinda, can feel it around tip .

& you are sure they are wet enough,
top rubber cup not too close/ cutting off juice flow /still allowing wicking ?
I don't use em I just toss em & use the doughnut lookin' one .
maybe the "burn" is really dry hitting ....?

Q4, take the little rubber cup thing out and put the o-ring back in on the ceramic cup. If you have clear ones that didn't come with the extra o-ring then take you little nail scissors and snip a bit of the indentation out more. I suspect that your cup covers are on too tight. You need to make sure they are aligned and only about half way down to touching the ceramic. You will need to rinse and dry burn them to get the burny taste out. If they are clear it is easy enough to see how far down you have the cover. You want it down far enough to form a seal, but not all the way. If they aren't clear they should have come with an o-ring between the mouth piece and the cup cover. I just pull out the cup cover and put the o-ring all the way down on the cup. If you want me to re-explain any of that let me know.

daisy, I try to make sure that I am not 'strangleing' the juice from getting to the coil- BUT i do think you might be right. sometimes that does happen. and honestly, I have started sometimes leaving off the cup cap and just using the Oring. I didnt think about cutting them- mostly cause I dont do 'tedious' work well.. LOL

Kelly, I think i was getting a dry burn, most times if I got a dry burn and then would tip it upside down for a second or two, I could get an almost decent hit the next time.
SINCE my juices are all the same, thats why I was trying to blame some outside force. Like the fog or something. LOL

some of them were new, so no junked up coils, and I clean them pretty well - so .....

and I am thinking that the cup is a pITA, and the Oring is my best bet. it doesnt prevent leaking as well, but heck, something is better than nothing. LOL



Fixin to get ready to take my truck to the tire dealer- I thikn my tie rods are out- which is NOT good- I just pray my bearings and all that are still decent- I just put 2 notes into the durn thing for that EGR cooler thing!!

Guess SOMEONE is trying to tell us to get shopping! I haven't given it a thought. DH's family always changes what they are doing year to year - secret santa, family gift, santa swap etc...no buying before thanksgiving for them! And my parents can be a PITA to buy for, because (thank goodness) they are financially "comfy" and can buy themselves what ever they need, and really don't "want" a lot.

And the kids...well, their "wants" will change day to day depending on whatever new thing comes to market between now and Christmas!



We've been entertained here this morning by 2 fledgling robins. They've been hanging on the deck (driving Einstein the cat crazy!) as they test their wings and momma robin brings them breakfast. It's foggy and damp here so they have "poofed" themselves up to stay warm. Too cute!

amen to that!! and I do have the horses- although- it would be a funny looking mismatched pair- a mustang and a mini. LOL of course, if I actually needed them for something, they would croak the next day- as long as they just eat my money and breathe good air, they are healthy as a .... well horse...

My FIL grew up on a sheep ranch in central Ohio near an area that had a heavy Amish population. He often rode a horse instead of taking the truck or car for his errands because their town was equipped for horses - with water troughs and posts to tie one up etc. My MIL claims he first caught her eye riding thru town.

Just keep it upright for a little bit after you first fill it Q4. I have not had any leaks since I stopped using the cup cover. I will get juiced when I take a hit if it's too full and been laying on it's side though. No dry hits until it actually runs dry.
