yesterday got everything cleanned out except our closet, today going to start painting Cody's bedroom, Still no news about the house but I saw one Sunday that just went up I LOVE...... they say things happen for a reason so never know.

A dad I know through school stranded himself on top of his roof 3 years ago stringing Christmas lights. He had to attract the attention of a 6th grade neighbor who called the fire department for him. His ladder was too short - he was able to haul himself up but couldn't figure the logistics of getting his feet back on to get down. By the time the fire department showed he had a yard full of school kids (they'd all just gotten home from school) and a couple of moms.
Turns out 2 of the FF go to church with all of us - so he has to see these guys all the time! They STILL raz him about.

I have mixed feelings, but I DO think it's GOOD for kids who are thinking about reaching for a pack to see images and warnings like that.

I don't think they'll do much. But if it stops even one person from starting I'm ok with it.
Every year before Prom DS's high school does an "Arrive Alive" program with wrecked cars and kids dressed up and made up to look like wreck victims. At least one dies every year and they wonder the hallways "dead" etc. There is a small degree of shock factor - but in general the kids laugh and snicker because, as we all know, teenagers think they're bullet proof. But if even one kid makes a choice to avoid reckless behavior - I'm in favor of it - same as the pics on the side of a pack of smokes.
Heck when I started smoking I assumed I'd quit before they could do any damage - lol - yeah that didn't work so well. It took me about 30 years to figure that out!

I realized after my last couple of bad physical accidents, no one was going to pay me to blow up stuff and shoot at people. That's why my focus shifted to computers (engineering) and operations research (statistics).
