I remember when my kids went to kindergarten, part of their counting was counting the days they were in school- 100 was a BIG deal, they had a huge party, they made decorations, they just went all out- I always thought it was kinda silly- But I understand it now 
We did the right thing. Silence isn't the answer. But, you're right, it's for the best.

I look at it as a an opportunity to expose the close minded to the bright wonderful world out there. Kind of like those who are colorblind don't know they're colorblind until someone points it out. Just because they don't see the color blue - doesn't mean something isn't blue. baby steps. baby steps. And well all know that once a baby learns to walk, it's only a matter of time before they're running and jumping!
I need to go to bed. The boys practice has been moved to 7am - need to have them out the door by 6:30.
