I just want to sit down. so far today I have wrote and answered about 25 emails about the company, fought with kids, fixed the generator, broke a tooth smooth off down to the gumline, loaded a 400 lb thrower in my truck (you just slide it off the porch LOL), cleaned the yard, and the porch, dealt with kids, loaded a generator onto a trailer (THANK GOD for the front end loader on the tractor...LOL) listend to kids fight and whine, and now I have to hook the trailer up to my truck.. But its 104 out there right now, and I am just too dang hot to move.

Other than the tooth (OWW!) it sounds like a typical day in the country. City folks don't realize just how much work it takes to get food on their tables!

LOL my wife thought the tractor was a stupid idea till we got one. The 4-way bucket is ALL WIN! You can pick up logs and small trees ;)

ohhhhh .... that Looks GOOD! :)

Oh crap OS- you reminded me, its past time to give the mid day water to all the hogs. LOL guess I wont be sitting for a while. sad thing is- I have done very little home wise today- I have been trying to get everything together for shooting tonight. and just putting out the normal fires that arise with a farm.

DDog the tractor makes my life ALOT easier- my husband is strong, he can pick up anything. My max is a 65lb bale of hay for about 100 yards. LOL so, I use it alot- And since we buy feed by the 1/2 ton bag, it is a must. I especially like it for digging postholes, and moving trees and stuff like that :)

Clay, so far it isnt really hurting, its just ... gone and feels funny- But I fiqure if I let my Blood pressure get up too high dealing with these devils spawn, then it will start hurting sooner rather than later... LOL

I just wish I did have a stock tank for the hogs- but we havent found a feasable fix. they have very large tanks, but its a waller/watering tank, adn so we refill them a few times a day when its in the hundreds out there- The horses and goat, I never worry about- they have water tanks with floats.

Ok, just got back from the interview. It's a start up company that purchased part of Kodak that I know a bit about. They have no clue exactly how everything is going to work so they are looking for people who know what needs to be done and help put processes in place. After 12 years with Kodak doing what the new company is trying to set up I might just have a few ideas :) I'll know in about 10 days. The manager who needs to approve everything is on vacation all next week. Sounds like this could be a lot of fun, or a major headache, but most likely a combination of both.

The lady that interviewed my made it pretty clear they don't know what they are doing, so I tried to emphasize a bit about doing the same work for 10+ years and that as a team new processes should be able to be developed rather quickly. There are at least 4 of us that were interviewed that have done that job. So if they hire a couple of us, we should have them up and running pretty quickly lol
