I'm pretty sure even the BEST job in the place is still worse than the WORST job I've ever had! The chemical smell is everywhere, and everything runs 16 pieces per 30 seconds (or faster). Maybe I'll get used to it, but I don't really see it happening.

(((Lynlee))) Yes, talk to someone, see if they can move you. I hope so! Sounds freakin' awful honey. :(

They do have a MSDS station but I've yet to find time to take a good look at it. I do know there is a 'corrosive' sign posted on the wall by the line I've been on.

They are also required by law to provide you with MSDS (materials safety and data sheet - I think) information so you know what you are working with

Hey all - been under the weather but crawling up for light and air!

Lynlee - DH works with stuff like that. (He "may" have worked for the company that makes the works.) not cool. Do you know which products your packing - they have several under The Works name. I can check with DH to see which one may be of concern.

At a minimum you should have been trained what to do "in case" of spills etc.

{{hugs}} Maybe talk to the temp agency to let them know you're interested in a position almost anywhere else.

I've worked there 2 days and so far I've only seen The Works tub and tile, and toilet bowl cleaner. I've seen boxes of other stuff but the name escapes me at the moment.

I saw on the IN job posting site that the gas station a few blocks from me is hiring at the same pay rate as this place I'm at now....I go see the manager Monday at 9, woo hoo~!
