eBay rant coming up!!
I recently sold two phones of mine and some juice so I could buy myself a Droid phone.
Now.. when I buy something off eBay, I pay immediately. I mean hell, you commit to buy the item, and it takes you right to the page where you can make your payment. Who on earth wouldn't just pay? You get your item sooner and it's just... a decent damn thing to do.
Well.. nope. Both of the people who bought the phones waited about two days before they paid. Why? It just seems wrong to me.
Secondly.. the money finally cleared and I went to buy my phone. The seller who I purchased the phone from somehow enabled something where people HAVE to pay immediately and until you pay the item is still listed as for sale. So yeah, I paid immediately.
That was last night... an entire business day has gone by now and she/he still has not shipped the phone. It's one phone and a charger being sent in a flat rate priority box. You're a seller on eBay trying to establish a good reputation and/or keep that reputation... Throw the stupid phone in the box and drop it in your mailbox. Or AT THE VERY LEAST print out a shipping label so your buyer has a tracking number - Which we all know the importance of.
But nope. I paid, she got, no DEMANDED her money immediately for being an established seller.. and then sat around on her .... all day as far as I can tell.
What the hell is this about??? Am I just spoiled by hundreds of pleasant transactions here on ECF, or did I just wade through a ton of unnecessary douchebaggery??
I mean, the absolute only pleasant part of this whole ordeal was selling my juice to Misplacedsooner. Who paid within 3 minutes, the money cleared immediately and I shipped the next day. But with eBay, you have to wait like 10 days for the money to clear at all, and when you buy an item apparently the seller can just sit around twiddle their thumbs and not bother to contact you at all.
Nah, I'm done with eBay. If only the forum had a non eCig related Classies section. It'd be all I need.

I have no tolerance for bad customer service. I almost ranted on here earlier about e-cig businesses that don't ship your products out in a reasonable time frame. If I order on Tuesday morning and you haven't made and shipped out my juice on Friday, then perhaps you don't need to operate a business. This isn't a place with a lead time warning. If you're sick, out of town or just busy with life, stop taking orders.
Enid I would have lost my patience a long time before Friday from Tuesday, as you said no posted lead time warning. But then again we may both be odd I don't know, if so we'll start a club. our catch phrase can be from the J.G.Wentworth commercial "It's my juice, and I NEED IT NOW!" lol
I'm consoling myself by ordering more stuff from other vendors. I'm going to try the Chibi tank. I learned about the existence of a Gingerbread Delight flavor from the secret santa thread, so I had to try that.
