but I just read the reviews on it outloud to Beth and she literally said "If these were reviews on a mod, would you buy it?" And I said hell no! So were still looking for a vanity. We got paint to match that glass top Oh well, we both like the paint color so that's still a go.

I just got home after being in the car for over 24 hrs in the past 3 days but Heather's mom is here. She tried the ecig on the ride back to SC. She said that she might use it when she reads at night but she's still planning on smoking. Y'all please pray for me. She's gonna stay over a month.

I wish it [PIF feedback] WAS connected -I totally think that PIF trades & treasure chests SHOULD be part of our ratings.

I agree. They are still working out the kinks to the system, but it is also my understanding that they are investigation whether or not it is possible to link PIF feedback to the classifieds' feedback. From what I've seen, this is generally considered a good idea among the ECF administration, but there is a question of whether or not it can even be done. It might be a matter of the feedback system only working with the system the classifieds are now using.

All I know for sure is that it has been mentioned in the discussion thread for the new classies and no one seemed to dislike the idea, but no one knew if it was even feasible yet...

Morning everyone- This is one of those days where no matter how hard I try, my mind is racing at 100 miles an hour over everything that I need to get done and what folks expect of me, and how I cant get it all done- I just wanna go back to bed- LOL


Here lately I have really been wanting a cig. I mean to the point where I almost asked for one on saturday. Not because I feel I am missing out, I just wanted one.

I am not sure why- maybe its because I am almost a year cig free? I know not to- but sadly the only thing that stopped me was even though noone would have seen me do it. they would have smelt it later because we were not home so I could shower, and I didnt want hubby to be disapointed in me.

Its sad when we only dont do things so others wont be disapointed in us... But I guess whatever works... lol

Good Morning. Mother nature must be PMSing - we got a couple of inches of snow today. Going to make tornado clean up even .....ier. The community of Piner, KY was hammered. Normally snow like this would shut them down - it's very rural and little in the way of snow removal. They are having school today as a way to give the kids a sense of normalcy - and honestly, keep them out of the way.


Enid - I know you must be worried if you asked for prayers! lol You've got 'em! Funny how family can drive you to the brink of homicide, even family you've chosen to be a part of! Just remind yourself, you got the pick of the litter ;-) I remind myself every Sunday evening when we talk to my MIL and every family get together.

DH & I both wondered last night if his mom dreads our call as as much as we dread making it? I will say - Face Book makes it interesting in that I can PM my SIL with a play-by-play. For example: last night my MIL said "We haven't talked to Bill in over a month"....Bill is the gentleman my SIL was very casually dating. Nothing serious, and SIL is the one who stepped back from the relationship...which left SIL & I to ponder the "We" LOL.

Q4- I've been really wanting one too on and off for the past couple of months! But this past week has been BAD! Glad I have some higher mg juice. I filled carto and have it on my eGo.


I was pondering your computer/software issues - you may want to put it to a vote with your board to attempt to raise/use some funds of the club to increase your internet usage and buy the software necessary. Most non-profits if not gifted the items, have to buy basic office equipment/services in order to function. kwim?

I'm so impressed with everything you have managed to do in such a short time with so little!

awww Thanks dark- I have an amazing support network. I am afraid that I am going to have to start asking for gas money. LOL the range is 40 miles from my house- and sadly, with deisel being 4.05 a gallon I just cant afford it. I hate to make it look like I started this company for my own gain. I know eventually I will have to. Not for a salary, just for general payback. hubby cant afford to support a family AND my non profit. LOL

Q, We run a non for profit and there is nothing wrong with using some of the money for gas, that is part of what it is there for. It is not like you are using it to do your hair so you look better for the group or something stupid like that. And any programs etc you need is fine too, you aren't buying them for you they belong to the non for profit. You are doing this to make things possible for the kids. Without you the group wouldn't be there and if someone else took over because you can't afford the gas etc to do your job you can be sure that they would be taking out the money for what they needed. Just keep all the receipts and you will be fine.

PRism, keyz, and dark- y'all are right- I know deep down you are.

Once I get it open 3 days a week I will have to get a fuel allowence. I would actually like to see a few of the oil comapnies donate deisel to us in 55 gallon barrels, so I can use it for the truck to drive back and forth AND for the tractors and such that go out and work to fix everything up. and that way I wouldnt be taking money.

I just have to talk them into it

Seriously - that is an awesome thing to do. If you can get one person off cigs and on a PV you've cut a fire risk too!

story time: In a previous life I worked in the trust dept of one of 2 regional banks in Western KY. We had a very (VERY) wealthy client who's hubby left her well provided for. She was in her early 90's when I met her. Being the "full service" organization we were (aka suck ups) we hand delivered her statements every month. Lucky me, she liked me. A lot. So whenever I could, I got the job.

She smoked like a chimney with wet wood. Picture a gorgeous custom built ranch house in sprawling style. VERY nice furniture. Custom wood work. She was always dressed to the nines and in full make-up with her hair "done".

In the family room (or TV Parlor as she called it ) was a nasty old arm chair. It was her smoking chair. .... burns, ash drop mars all over the arms and the rug under the chair. Above the chair were TWO smoke detectors, and one outside each of 2 doors ways into the room. The lighter was one of those big-.... refillable desk-top ones. the only lighter allowed in the house because she couldn't sneak to her room wince she used a cane.
I'll always remember that. lol

Q4 - you can right off mileage for gas used for volunteering on your taxes. I always estimate under the number of trips to cover my ..... (Until they can consider giving you a gas allowance)

Pwyll has had it forever... anyway, being the awesome guy that he is, he donated the long body and the extra headcap (that I got later) to some of our members in Afghanistan! It went with a box full of stuff! I thought it was cool and decided to pass it on to you! That roughstack has been PIFed all the way to Afghanistan!
