Yes, she got a walker for Christmas and her feet now almost are flat on the ground. She is starting to sit and roll from her back to stomach, but she can't roll back the other way. She loves being in the walker & bouncer, laughing away! Yep. gotta go soon & buy outlet covers, gates, etc. She smiles at everyone now, so cute!

I'm so sore, OMG. My sawing arm is angry . One more piece of door trim to saw into a 45 degree angle...maybe Beth's dad will do it. I don't ever want to touch a saw again

Is it wrong that I'm so incredibly happy that Beth's parents bought us a new toilet for our 15th anniversary (which is tomorrow)? Well, I am. That's right...happy enough to put up the dancing banana. Woooo!

I agree. I'd much rather have something that I need than "something nice" and not useful. Within the past year or so, I've received a pearl necklace and a set of kitchen knives. Guess which one that I love the most.

I was dreading the idea of putting the old toilet back in the shiny new bathroom. I was scared it would leak again, which is why I even started this process. I couldn't find the reason for the leak, very frustrating. We were "hoping" it was a wax seal issue, but not sure. So glad we don't have to deal with installing it and waiting to see if it would leak again. Yay!

We found a beautiful mirror today for $44. Beth's dad put in white light/fan switches and same white outlet and white outlet/switch covers. What a difference from the original beige ones that were in there. Just looks FRESH We also picked up chrome TP and hand towel holders and chrome knobs for the vanity. Got the sink sealed down to the vanity and the plumbing under the sink started. Should definitely be able to get the last piece of door trim, plumbing and toilet done tomorrow. Then I just have to paint the door trim and the inside of the door. Will be so glad when it's done.

My parents gave us a storm door for our 4th anniversary! I was beside myself excited! Hmmm Wonder if I could drop that same hint for # 22 coming up in May? We sold that house back in 1996!

Lox - I knew I was 'done' having kids when I held a new born and my ovaries didn't "ping". lol


Thankfully I still have young friends and neighbors. Monday I got to hold a 2 week old little girl. So sweet. But didn't mind handing her back to he momma wither lol!! (After Ii got my fill of "new person" smell!)

I swear, babies smell like youth, spring and everything yummy all wrapped up in one awe inspiring scent!
