Q, the vision should be fine on there. Look silly, but will vape!

Prism, I would have to keep her, but if you cant, you can't. If you end up having to give her up, I am so sorry. I know it will hurt your heart. :( She is lovely!!

Shoulder update: hurts a bit less, still no more mobility. :glare: I'll take it for now, but it's still damn frustrating!

Chelle2, YEP- they do work on there- I DID go through 5 battery charges yesterday on these teeny things, I do like them, but dang I have to charge alot. LOL

When I started tracking the batteries, on the 15th, they said "arrival on the 16th" the morning of the 16th my mail lady texted me, said they didnt come-

in the mean time they had changed the date to today-

So today she texted me and said its STILL not there- But, the stupid link says its still slated for delivery... UGGGGGG Tomorrow is her day off, and I hate her sub. She is a dipstick- and will end up delivering it to my SIL 5 miles down the road.

If someone had told me then that's I'd love bottom feeders, I would have told them they were crazy. :p

Prism: If you can't keep her, I'd advertise the heck out of her and contact your vet to see if s/he can help get her adopted.

My Vet was a real sweet heart when I adopted the cats. He gave me a great deal on their shots/exam and neutering and declawing after confirming that we'd be able to accept the financial responsibility of annuals going forward. He understood that taking it all on at once was a deal breaker.

Right now the mixing of the two dogs is a no go. We are letting them see each other through the patio door and have tried to introduce them through the fence with her in the front yard and him in the back. King does not want to be friends. She is ok but holds her ground once he starts baring his teeth, growling and snapping, then she will do it right back, not that I blame her. He knows I am the boss so he will stop for about 30-60 seconds at a time when I yank his leash and tell him no and make him sit but then he can't stand it and wants to show her he is boss again. He plays with the neighbors dogs fine through the fence but I think he has been an only dog for too long now and just too territorial. We will keep trying through the weekend and see how it goes.

Definitely territory issue, giving it a few more days to see if they can get along. Things here are real messed up too. Mom called the Humane Society and they wont take it. Come to find out all the townships wont pay whatever it is that they are supposed to because the Humane Society is charging too much. Called the Constable and he said they are just recommending that people not put food out and just let them go. How cruel. Can't do that. Will let our vet and everyone else we know about her to try and see what can be done. She really is a sweetheart.

awww thats too bad :(

around here its MY dogs that bring home strays. sometimes I think the dogs are worse than the kids when it comes to bringing home 'new friends' -

speaking of which- yesterday we started out before daylight to go shoot- walked for about 3 hours with 7 kids- 4 of which were shooting 100 birds each.

went and ate and then shopping at academy- cause the boys needed stuff for their guns.

got home, decided to do NOTHING- and within 30 minutes there were 3 teenage boys over here- DS 1 was off and going. DS 2 said he was NOT going anywhere- he was gonna sit and watch TV. well about 4 or so hours later, it was dark and my grandfather pulled up with DS1. The boys had been in the woods, running and jumping and acting a fool, one fell, and about the time my idiot went tohelp him up, someone else hollered "SNAKE" so the kid who fell went to flailing his arms and freaking out- resulting in my son getting an elbow to the eye.

he is in bad pain this morning according to him. Its all swole and got a mouse on it for sure. they were closer to my grandfathers, so he went there for treatment.

Now, he has decided he is too wounded to get out of bed. UGGGGGG - I have a cake due in less than 5 hours, dont even have it all baked, and really wanted to go to church this morning.

OHHHHH and yesterday my batteries were here when I got home!! WHOO-HOO!! cause I had ran out of battery about 3 hours before... I was DYING... LOL

don't you hate when stupidity on their part causes you to change your plans?

Gorgeous day here in the blue grass state!

Of course I'm cleaning in preparation for my MIL & SIL coming this week. And finding things to do that aren't cleaning related, or are, but not necessary right now - like hosing off the kitchen broom and washing out the kitchen garbage can and *oh look, sparkly!*

Just washed all the winter coats, hoodies jackets etc. Now trying to find room to hang them to dry...and then shove them in a tub or closet till needed. I'm thinking I'm going to put #1's in his closet so we remember to send him to school with at least one in August! It's be hotter than heck when he starts school but could change quickly. lol

Need to water the plants I transplanted yesterday. they are sorry looking right now.

I hope I did that right, I don't link to youtube here much.. I'm sure one of the mods who frequent that romantic thread can correct me if I did it wrong lol

Saw this video today, the song is one of my favorites by her, but the message in the video speaks VOLUMES, and reminds me so much of PIF that I had to come over here and share it :) Happy Monday!

mornin folks- I am headed to the DR with BErtha Sue this morning- She has been complaining of her chest hurting everytime she does any walking or running.

She says "it makes no sense, my chest hurts, but my legs dont- I am not even using my chest to walk" - so I thought I would take her in and see whats up. She hasnt been to a Dr in at least 2 years- maybe longer. - She is healthy as a horse, so I am not really worried, but, no sense in paying for insurance every month if we dont use it.
