I'm currently dealing with back to school shopping and trying to figure out what #1 needs for his dorm.

His room mate is bringing a TV, iron and ironing board and waste-can. Since he's bringing a TV, DS gave up dibs on the bed by the window. lol

I've bought pens, mechanical pencils, notebooks, crayons, and filler paper so far (for all 3).

For DS I've bought socks and underwear. Almost needs a loan! Geesh they're expensive! And a couple of towels.

The room has a small dorm fridge.

hoping for some rain tomorrow. We've only had a trace of rain since May. I know it's worse in other areas, but I'm really hoping we get some of the wet stuff soon.

You might consider an electric skillet, if its allowed. Late night ramen noodles (with one egg and 1/2 slice cheese) is a must. Otherwise, maybe a cheap microwave.

He will figure out pretty quickly what he needs. Flipflops for the shower and a box to keep his soap in. Surge protector with at least six plugs. Lamp. Red Solo cups...

eeww........... spaghettios? How can you eat them after you smell them ?

Its a teenage male thing. Easy calories. It doesn't matter what it tastes like, or if it is good for you. It gives you fuel to carry on. You don't really even need to heat them up.

That reminds me, he might need a P-38 (ask sarge).

Just some bragging. :) Liv had her 3 year check up today and both the nurse and Dr. said she made their day. The nurse said: "All kids are great, but this kid is like....wooo!" LOL They both said how smart she is, how well she speaks and of course that she's beautiful. The Dr. asked how she'd like to stay with her the rest of the day and Liv said: "Well, I'd be a little devastated." Thought the doc was gonna fall off her stool. My kid rules!

He is a cutie Lisa, I hope you get to meet him soon :)

Been doing a lot of crying and wishing I could go home to see him and help my daughter but I am not well enough to travel without my husband. We may be moving to Missiouri next month then we are hoping we can meet up with the kids in Detroit for a few days. Hoping we can work something out but it is really hard and my Dad was admitted into ICU with pneumonia the same day Jaxon was born so a lot of emotions flying around. My dad is doing well now and they should be sending him back to the nursing home in next couple days.
