ROFL. Glad I could be a memorable moment in your child's life! :p

I kinda do the happy dance when my '21 year old parties too much' son leaves. Don't tell him. My baby, Jules, on the other hand . . . . . *whimper*. She is my 'out of the box' kid. (See how I label them!). She is a wonderful, caring, loving young woman who has faced struggles in her own way but always seems to make it through. The funny part is . . when the kids were little, I ALWAYS thought my son would be the one that I would worry about (A.D.H.D). If I wasn't around, I was afraid he would tear the place apart. He has turned out to be a great young man. He enjoys his new found 21 priviledges :) but is a easy to be around. My daughter - quiet, sensitive, loving, intuitive, NEVER a problem kid needs me the most now. Her sexuality was difficult for her to deal with as a teen but she has come to terms with it now and is happier than I have ever seen her. Cute girlfriend, too. :) I miss her everyday. :(
*tear*...why do we women have to get all hormonal and chit... :glare: that really touched me paula, thanks for sharing
Why does my wife feel the need to wake me up just to ask me if I want to sleep another 45 minutes??? I was sleeping...yes, I want to sleep another 45 minutes! Damn! Once I'm awake, I'm awake...so, there went my 45 minutes. 13 years together...does the woman not know me AT ALL????? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I am the same way cheele... once im up im up!!
What the hell is wrong with you? (just to be safe, I'm going to go order 750 bottles right now)

Maybe she knows you too well...once you are awake...well...nuff said...lol:D

I think I follow where you're going with this...and waking me up when I could sleep another 45 minutes is NOT the way to get me to be "nice", I can assure you! LMAO!

I got lucky.. My husband is good about letting me sleep or not. If there's stuff to do that day, he wakes me up with coffee. if not, he shuts all the doors to the bedroom (there are 3...its a Victorian master bedroom, lol) and let's me sleep until I wake up.

But this is actually a new thing he does, and I'm wondering what he's done wrong.

Him making me coffee is actually a huge deal.. He never drinks coffee and never has, and his parents always used espresso.. which is a much different process to make than brewed coffee. So when he brews me coffee.. and adds cream and sugar.. and brings it to my bed.. you HAVE to wonder what the hell he did.

BTW, I'm out of coffee :(

I would take my coffeepot as my second husband if it promised to love me and have my coffee every morning. It has been there through good times and bad (ok except when I cant clean the lime stuff out any more and have to get a new one). Guess my husband should be glad he dosent get clogged up and is still working good after 37 years.

I have a weird connection with my coffee pot. It's a Brew Station that my best friends mom had for years and years. I always loved it because it brews REALLY REALLY fast and it's just really spiffy looking. When Lindsay's grandfather died, her mom took his coffee pot.. which is weird because it was just a regular old coffee pot. But she gave me hers, and that was 4 years ago and I still have it.. and it's probably at least 8 years old.. still works like a dream.. really stained though.

Here she is:

Except not as new. I love the fact that I don't have to perform the blurry act of actually pouring the coffee into my cup.
