I'm scared because in the past Sam has had a very hard time keeping a 9 - 5 job. I know it's something that he would have had to do either way, if he wanted a substantial job... But his work at Jackson Hewitt was very much work from home and only work when something broke, but get paid either way. So it was nice. Now he actually has to be there at 9am and I don't like the fact that I lack faith, but I do.

my 14 year old and 9 (almost ten, going on 17) year old fight all the time.. I just heard for the second time today "well guess what? you're not my mother!" ONE WEEK FROM TODAY.. Happy School Year!!!
OMG i would wring some lil necks...lol

That is kinda scarey. My hubs was like a 40yr old child when we got together, but he knew he had to be the daddy and provider when we had our kids and it took a while but he did grow up and got enough self confidence in himself to do the right thing.Just try to have faith in him and tell him how proud you are that he is doing it.It will work.

Gooooood morning, folks! Went to bed at 2 AM and woke up at my (now normal) 7 AM. I really need to get my sleep cycle back to normal. This isn't working all that well for me. I can make due on 5 hours of sleep but I just feel so much more coherent on 6-7.

Glad to hear your husband got a job, Sallana. I wouldn't worry overly much. My husband made a fairly big career change from blue to white collar. It's taken him a bit to get used to the whole 'you don't work the entire time you're there' bit but I think he's finally coming around. Boy, is it aggravating to hear the "I'm bored" and "there's not enough work, I get finished by 10 AM" whines. He really wants to be able to leave when his work is finished.

The poor guy just isn't used to not working every second of his work day. Oh, and he really hates the hour long lunch. I don't think he's taken an hour for lunch since he took this job.

Oh, I've told him to do that! I keep promising to get him hooked into one the big 5 accounting firms so he can complain about working too much!

He's tried to book method and has now run out of books. He's reread every textbook he has and we've bought him numerous others. The man is a machine, I tell you! He's hesitant to hit websites that aren't directly linked to his work because of user agreements too.

I do understand where he's coming from though. I can't just sit either.

Really near the mexican border.
Our two are 6.5 years apart from eachother. When we would leave them alone for any length of time. The youngest one was in charge of the animals and the oldest was in charge of the house, but not of the youngest one, who mentally is older than the oldest.

We would have never put Patti (23) in charge of Cassi (16) because Patti would do things to CAssi to make her life a living hell.

So Patti always had control over the house, meaning if something happened she was to grab the phone and 911.
Cassi was in charge of the dogs, specifically, that meant if something happened she was to grab the other phone (in case Patti forgot) and the dogs to get out of the house.

That was the only way to keep the peace, otherwise we would be having 20-30 calls in a 3 hours period about all the stuff that cassi was doing to patti and visa versa.

This worked awesomely. We even got to one night when we didn't receive not even one phone call. It was a miracle!
Got home dogz were all in bed with Cassi and Patti had the phone in bed with her. Everyone was asleep, the doors were locked and the house was clean, I about passed out.

4?????? OMG.. i would need a straight jacket!!! sheesh.. my 2 fought like crazy... and thats scary cuz they are 7 yrs apart... never let the old one watch the young one, cuz thats like lettin the fox watch the hen!!!

You know, all you folks with kids are acting as quite the birth control this morning. Although, to be fair, I sincerely doubt I ever give birth to a child. I'm more likely to adopt one or more.

Oh, and I see boB is awake. Be oh be, can you point me to the mod stuff you were talking about with someone? I'm not sure why, but the little sister (and the big brother) have caught my eye. I'm wanting a variable volt mod to reward myself at 3 months and/or when I hit even. Can't have myself making money off this stuff, afterall!

Oh, and can anyone offer perspective on using an adapter to convert a 510 to an 808? I've got a ton of 808 cartos and don't feel like switching over to a new system until I've burned through these.
