an unnamed member took both the PIF and the DIY PIF yesterday morning.....they proceeded to bump their bottle "need". I questioned if you have the money to be PIFing several timed a day (which they're been doing for a while) why not just buy a few bottles. Well they were broke. My comments got deleted. Now the member is trading bottles. History of really taking advantage lately. I've talked to mods about it, nothing happens, but dare we call them out, we're the bad ones! boB

He was in the wants and needs thread singing the blues about needing bottles, being on a fixed income, etc etc.
I pmed I would send bottles and a few others did too. Then today he offers 12 empty bottles he has "on hand" and could send more next week because he has some coming in - as a trade for an 808 kit.

He edited the posts ... so I am not able to see what he wrote.... but I am sorry... Taking advantage of this group is not acceptable. I know that I am new around here but I felt so guilty (still do) when someone offers me something & I have nothing to offer them in return. lol... I probably thank them to death... this group has brought me to tears (good tears) and to see someone take advantage is just infuriating!!!

And YOU'RE what PIF is all about. Someone who has a need and is honest and will give back to the needy members when you can and have something someone really needs. We all want to give to your fellow PIF members, but we certainly don't want to be screwed over while doing it.

Sorry to derail happy thoughts. It just struck a nerve. I have had a few people that I sent stuff to recently - because of the hard luck story they told - sell what I sent them in the classifieds or other threads.

That's enough venting.
Let's talk about happy stuff - like cats.

I know Sallana, that's what I've been doing too, but now I even have to just PM the person and tell them I want their address. The last couple times I posted, I got no less than 14 PMs "I want some too" and some were names I'm watching that I don't trust.
It's gotten hard, but I have to say the good people still far outweigh the bad on here and just try be yourself, and do what you can. I'm sorry you got hurt, but just remember as far as that other person is concerned, Karma is an awesome thing and it will come back to bite them.

PIF is supposed to be to share and help and try a taste of something different,not sit and wait to pounce on every friken big offer put out!!!I like to watch the new guys get stuff and get excited.Ive seen people pounce in front of them to get to it! its sad and gross!OK Im done ranting.
