I remember giving a tour to this family who brought their two sons. One son was about 4 the other was 6ish. My son was maybe a year and a half. The younger of their sons ran right up to mine, and bopped him on the head with the sippy cup he had in his hand. The mother, simply glanced over when she heard my son crying and then glanced away.

It was more that satisfactory when I said "Okay, you people need to get out of my home before I arm my son with a hammer."

I don't know that I would've given her warning. Would've probably just handed the hammer to the son and said,"Have at em, Bubba." Then with a big ole grin and the deepest southern accent I could muster, "Ain't he cute? Gotta train em early t'defend themselves 'round these parts."

Well hello to you too, Miss Chelle. You get my package today? I haven't looked at tracking but it should be there today I would think! It has all sorts of goodies I can't wait to hear what you think :)

Sadly, I did not. :( No packages for days and days now. I'm starting to get depressed.

Glad you enjoyed it! I told my husband what I'd posted (he's home 'sick') and he chuckled. Said that if anyone could pull off that deep south accent, I could.

Probably because my mother's southern and I've grown up visiting family all over the south. I have a bad habit of imitating other accents when I'm around people for more than a couple of hours.

Edit note: He added that you could pop a nice bluegrass banjo CD in too and hit the remote at just the right time. Bet they wouldn't stay long!

I took drama for a little while because I have a weird talent of being able to emulate any accent. It didn't go anywhere, I don't want to be an actor. But I can sure make people think I'm from anywhere I want! lol
