The Catholics in this area have a prayer for lost thing - only thing is if it works my Grandma said you have to make a donation to charity.

St.Anthony is the patron Saint of the Lost.

St Anthony St Anthony (or Tony Tony if you're feeling particularly close lol)
please look around
something is lost and can't be found
Please intervene and help us find _________
amen

I cna't begin to tell you how many times I've used it. But heck, I planted a St. Joe statue every time we've had to put a house on the mkt too!

I'm familiar with the prayer, I was raised catholic. But I couldn't understand why you were supposed to keep repeating it until you found it and then give credit to Tony....?

Curiosity is getting the better of me and I have to admit to having read this thread for the past couple of days - Loxmythe: why does Missy call you dad and how does one go from prelaw to lock smith?

LOL
I am Missy's Dad. (it's an honorary title)

do you really want to know the rest?
I'm pretty dull

I'm one of those insatiably curious people. I only agree to go to the Mall to watch people. DH & I go every Christmas Eve - not to shop - but to drink over priced coffee and make up stories about the people doing their last minute shopping! It all started when we lived out of town from any family and had no kids and had nothing better to do on Christmas Eve.

I get changing majors. I almost did. DH knew what he wanted to do since late grade school. We have a Jr in high school who hasn't a clue what he wants to do. It's been on my mind about how people make decision. DH recently decided he's going to teach high school chemistry after ds#3 graduates in 12 years. It is frustrating him that a fascinating subject is dumbed down and made boring by boring burned out teachers.

ok, so what's a DH?

on a different thought, it's becoming more and more difficult to watch the newsfeed on my FB. Society is failing kids today, either the English teachers need a raise to do a better job, or they need to be fired. Seriously, I drop IQ points watching it. I am not the smartest person in the world, but wen ur typen n evrytng has red lines under dem werds, it meenz they r spelled wrong. <~~~~biggest one ever!

At this point I'm ready to cry right along with him..... I think (from my perspective) the mail man not dropping it at the door is WAY worse than teddy being gone... it had my new riva in it.... :(

but ya, teddy matters too......... sort of........

Ok i know this will sound wierd but ask Mini art... she may be able to help u...just do it..LOL
