Lilacs stand tall and dont let him see the fear. It is very hard, but you can do it .
My son served during Bosnia, ex special forces. My hair turned white really young.
Just let him know you support and love him.
And dont even think of treating him like a kid when he comes home, he wont be that anymore.

I know that he isn't, even now.. but I swear, it was JUST yesterday I was babysitting him, and he was huggin' his too worn out BunBun (one of THOSE stuffed animals.. did asharp find teddy yet?) It's hard to swallow.. he never expressed interest, and we aren't a military family, no one in our family has been enlisted while I've been alive, much less his lifetime. It was sudden, he didn't even tell anyone. But! he seems optimistic and happen about it, texting me "don't worry auntie mel, its fine!" I am proud of him.. just worried, it's what I do best.

I had a mod once, in fact traded it from Keyz. A little 905. My kid took it to try it , he smokes cigars.
Well I never got it back and he is using it , I dont have the heart to ask for it back now cause it is working for him LOL
