I think it's more the person doing the complaining and how they complain in alot of cases though...

though there are some vendors that yeah you're right...

take for example the guy from a couple of days ago that was complaining about being blacklisted from VB...it all came out in the wash that he was the problem and was only telling half the story...

then you got the complaints about say V4L, TW, or say puresmoker.....prime examples of vendors that have fans that will defend them to the death

and thats the way it should be - if you like/believe in something then you should defend it/them!
nothing wrong with that
But, one should be able to voice an opinion.....its our American right

I for the most part agree...
however if the complaint is a legitimate complaint....
and you follow a proper course of action (ie attempting to contact the vendor directly)...without any resolution or response for a while..
then you should be able to post about your negative experience and review of the vendor without being personally attacked by that vendors fans..
and there ARE certain vendors that are worse than others in that reguard...their fanbase is rabid and will personally attack that person and attempt to make them feel as if it's the customer's fault/problem...
I mentioned three of them for example...

i think the way you voice your negative experience has a little do to w/ it too. after the TW debacle, i wound up going w/ some friends to TW (as the US store is based not far from me) and Justin all but agreed that pillbox could be an idiot at times but then i had to concede that the ad did its job and generate attention and publicity. don't forget that there's a saying that there's no such thing as bad publicity.

well that's the most pertinent info i know about them. having went there, Justin seems to b a good guy. so if there's any issues i'd be happy to help however i can since it's possible for me to talk to them face to face :)

oh alot of it has been hashed out...there was a long thread titled ripped off... by crazyterri....and there's been a bunch of others...used to be you had to be quick to catch them because if they were in the TW forum they'd just get deleted...
there was all kinds of stuff like them shipping to the wrong address (like they got the state wrong) and the person being told that they'd have to wait 30 days to get a refund or replacement...just all kinds of bizzareness that I'd refer to as a carnival of errors...

well that's y i've made the statement that i'd help if i can - especially if they're making extra on shipping - i'd have no bones about going down picking up the product in person and sending it to whoever (again if they were flat rate shipping or whatnot a couple bucks in my pocket wouldn't hurt my feelers in the slightest to make sure some1 got what was sent to them correctly...lol)

question as i can't find it in the library or i'll admit w/ a half-hearted search

if a 901 atty starts to glow when could that be a sign that the wick might b burned out of it? and if that's the case, does that mean it's only useful for dripping from then on if my ZFM modded carts aren't really working anymore?

and if that is the case does that mean my only option is to start dripping until i can get my hands on another good working atty?

i realize these probably sound like stupid questions but when things were working well, i really wasn't concerned or felt i needed to know these things

the atty...if dry should glow...if your atty is dry and it isnt glowing you've got a bunch of gunk built up on the coil and it's not working efficiently

really? even a 901?, i'm not even using the first atty i ever had - the first 2 i used never glowed and 1's popped dead and the other even though it's been cleaned sounds and seems like it's near death. so maybe my first 1 and that other1 had something wrong w/ them from the get-go then? cause even when they tasted burnt they had no glow. i don't know if this means anything but the 1 that seems near death has a washer in the bottom i've seen mention of that but don't remember where maybe that has something to do w/ it?

Contest for eGo kit...

and thanks for the heads up on this - gave me a reason to log onto youtube w/ my account for the first time in like 2 years...lol

guess i'll keep checking back daily till someone gets it - again thanks :)
