My Granddaughter turned 9 Sunday.
There is STILL glitter in my house from Christmas when she was 4 and had "Dorothy" shoes. (Red glitter covered slippers)
And I'm a neat freak. I'm constantly cleaning something. (My desk as we speak)

never let one of those micro bead pillows open in the house. I had one that had a tiny hole in it, 3 years AND a move to a new house and I still find those things.
lol my problem is that I love my job...but due to the wonderful economy I've been laid off WAAAY too long...so all the side projects and jobs that normally occupy and use that crative juice just get half finished ad piled up...because I'm too OCD to really call any of them finished...
lol...we had one of those...and yeah my now 3 year old and his step sister decided they wanted to open it and dump it out on his bedroom floor, because it looked like snow...
LOL...I'm almost thankful for the fire that destroyed that place or I'm sure we'd still be vacuming bits of it up 2 years later...
I'm sorry you got laid off. The company I worked for nearly went out of business so I was really scared there for a while that I was going to lose my job. Our companies biggest client was AIG so when they went bankrupt we lost 65% of our business overnight. The most frustrating part was the division we did work for was profitable and had nothing to do with the mess the rest of the company had gotten into. Luckily the owner of the company I worked for stopped taking a salary for a full year so he wouldn't have to let anyone go. I got lucky, many other, my mom included, did not.
Maybe I should be thankful I still have my job and actually get some work done, eh?

Cigarettes are nasty! Yes, I'm sure of it *again* because I just smoked one. I've been reading recently all these posts on the forum about people craving a cigarette and I've been dreaming about smoking and tonight I gave in and had one. Nasty. And mad at myself.

I don't *want* to, but I betcha in a couple of months, I WILL do it again. Seems to be my pattern. Maybe that will fade out in time...I sure hope so.

Good mornin family...It is my lil man's 11th bday today....
My baby is 11!!!!...geesh..before u know it they r 18 and moved out! I have an 18 yr old son too...and he's gone
..only a few miles away..but still breaks my heart, and it's hard for me to let go.

Little Man!!thank you bianca and gut!!! he's busy playing on his new toy....That was a fortune!! the new DSi XL....man as they get older the gifts get more expensive too!
