i didn't have a lil sister, well my lil brother is close, but that's a whole other story. anyhow it's common because that's how my friends' sisters were - didn't matter older or younger tho.

@PM2006

I just sent "Know the symptoms" to 2 of my friends. What a gem of a story. Just about peed myself laughing so hard.

Now, do you find yourself describing things as:

"You know that thing that I want by that brown whatcha-ma-callit thingy on the wall by what's his name? You know the dog. No. Not the dog's name, the thing on the wall over there - over there by the brown thing with the door!!!!!"

"For crying out loud!!! Don't you understand English?"

"That thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over there!!!!!!!! By the dog!!!!!! The brown dog what's his name. No, the brown dog by the goofy one."

"On the wall!!! Don't make me repeat myself."

"You mean the phone Mom?"

"Yes, the thingy on the wall.":D

Hubby calls this "Speaking Princess" and he's quite fluent in it :laugh::laugh:

So, uh, I put peanut butter and fluff between two Mum-Mums (baby rice cakes) and gave it to Livi for a snack (translation: Mommy wanted to be left alone for 10 minutes to read ECF) and this is the result:

lol...and?..... that's a toddlers natural state....sticky..... you can scrub them clean and put them in the center of a dust free, clean, hardwood floor room....and within 10 minutes they'll be sticky somehow...
it's just their natural defense mechanism...otherwise people other than their parents think they're so adorably cute that they just want to eat them up all the time

I never thought about it like that before! Good observation! :) I wish it really worked though. I can't tell you how often strangers come up to us and try to touch our baby! :blink: I stop them, of course, but it's so awkward! Maybe she's not sticky enough??

lol or you're too busy trying to keep her too clean all the time...lol... I know our 3 year old...if strangers tried to touch him he'd swing at them..or scream...either way...strangers stopped trying to touch him...he had other stuff going on besides just being sticky

You got that 30 min (minimum!) clean up right! Good Lord! You know she touched everything in sight! :?:

Thank you. :) I love her little face...I watch her doing her baby things with a silly grin on my face all the time. I've never loved anyone so much in my whole life. :)
