I did join the Florida group, but they are all quite a distance from me. I havent had time to go there much either.
well i'm helping coordinate the next meet in bradenton (cause i obviously couldn't make brandon either) if u want I can keep u up to speed on that 
Depends on when it will be , my son lives up further north in Fl. I may make a trip up to see him. If it is around the same time then perhaps I could make it
well last i knew they were thinking next month sometimes but w/ my scouting w/o wheels of my own right now it might take a bit longer than that to set up.
Cowboy, if you don't already have one, try to pick up a cheap bicycle somewhere. It sounds kind of silly, but it would add at least a couple of miles to the radius that you can reach on foot. It might open up a previously unavailable opportunity for you.
I knew someone who got a job six miles away from where he lived. He used a bicycle to get there everyday for six weeks until he had enough money to buy a car, which then enabled him to get a better job that was 15 miles from where he lived.
Sometimes Police Departments give away or sell abandoned bikes cheap. I have seen perfectly good bikes in the free columns of the newspapers, and also in the trash.

that's an option but i've been wary of doing that as i'm right now not in near as good of shape as when i lost my license at 18 for 6 mos. but thanks for the ideas on where to acquire 1 for less than the $300 they're wanting in this area.

it's nothing like that, as that carto mod must makes it basically a drip tip for an atty. mine is like having filler w/o filler as it's a plug that a bridged atty pushes open just a crack to let juice out to wick it. i wish i had a working digicam so i could make a vid and show it.
if i understand right a carto has a ringed atty and unless it has points i see no way i could make it work for a carto. because even if it did have a point i have no clue how i'd keep airflow AND have something to push through a plug, if u'd like to me a burned out carto (something i can take apart w/o fear of ruining) i can see what i can come up w/.

Adja I tried that one and it just made a mess. Leaks everywhere.

art- mine is actually based on scottyball's ZFM i just saw problems w/ his design and basically improved upon it using different/ more materials mine is just basically a more advanced and more rugged version
Cool. I tried the zfm and it leaks.
The only thing that works really well for me is the qtip straw down the side of the cart and
a fluval type filler packed pretty good so it doesnt leak.

after i've got the fit and the cuts right i haven't had a leak since art, and 901's are know for leaking because of the air intake in the side. and i use a q-tip straw for a vent because if scotty's zfm didn't leak then after the first couple vapes then it vacuum locked - another matter i addressed - also mine is between 2-4 times thicker than a 510 cap making it sturdier and so far longer lasting. if u want to try 1, i think u saw the offer i posted - send a clean cart and pay postage both ways and i'll fit 1 for u to try
