Three days in a row. Holy , I would be so damn mad! But what can you do, they're babies, right? Wow...I really don't want to have this experience. Damn.

So, we started potty training Livi tonight. How long did it take to potty train YOUR babies??? Anyone???

Funny story about potty training and Lori's oldest daughter. Lori's ex-husband is a teacher so he was home all the time when Pati was learning to use the potty chair. Lori had just come home from work as a police officer and was in the bedroom changing her clothes, when Pati ran in and said "Daddy, Mommy me got to potty", so they helped her take her diaper off (no pull ups back then [23 years ago]. She ran to bathroom stood at the big toilet, squeezed her belly and promptly peeed all down her legs. According to Lori she had a look like 'why did that happen, it works for daddy'. From then on Gary closed the door when he used the bathroom.
She was potty trained in about 1 month after that incident.

My brother on the other hand took about 1 full year starting at about 10 months. Our friend and doctor said it was, because when boys gotta go, they gotta go right then and there, they can't hold it like girls can! Yeah for the girls.

Hrm. Mine is 2 and we haven't started potty training. we can't communicate well enough with him.. he can't say much.. not a big talker.. autism is on the table.. praying its not the case blah blah.

My daughter barely spoke until she was 4 and she learned to ride a bike.From that moment on she never shut up.Shes 10 now and smart as a whip.They are all different.Hug them,love them and let them be whoever they are!

my youngest was like that , he didnt really say anything you could really understand until he was almost 3. Come to find out his tongue was too long!! We never knew until he bit the end off it one day! Then he could talk LOL

Sallana, one of my best friends has an autistic set of (boy) twins. One is severe, the other is high functioning. If you find out that he is indeed autistic, I can put you in contact with her...she is a bevy of info on treatments and therapies. I also pray that this isn't the case, but if it is, talk to my friend and see if she can help. (((squeeze you)))

Thanks Chelle ♥, it's going to be a while before we know for sure. They can't adequately test a 2yr old for it, they said we will know by age 4 or 5.

Ya Sallena that actually happened. Wasnt funny at the time , but it was actually why he wasnt talking clearly,

Dont worry, kids advance at their own pace, yours may be just fine,
My oldest said his first whole sentance at 9 months and scared us silly.
"I want a pickle" LOL

Then he didnt speak more then a word or so until he was well over 2.

Go figure... ya just never know why.

My neighbors baby is 4 month younger than Livi. Livi has done EVERYTHING early...so my friend/neighbor is always comparing her baby to our baby and saying how hers is so slow to do things, like walk and talk, and I keep telling her that her baby is right on schedule and mine is a freak of nature!

wow what a day! I had to buy a new tire for my car yesterday because of a flat. I had to buy a new battery for my car today. A lady was killed in my apartment complex last night I guess. There have been police everywhere and the whole thing has been taped off most of the day, which meant no coming or going. I got questioned by police if I heard or saw anything!

I know girl its crazy!! Was not a random thing, It was a husband/wife argument escalated from what I understand but still crazy for my usually quiet little gated community!
