I like the feedback section for private sales (which I've been so lucky with and met some seriously cool folks) but like you said, the link you put up is closer.

Referencing the "personal opinion" comment from Untamed Rose, I hear ya, the lack of true objective analysis makes it difficult. Especially when you like someone and they end up screwing the pooch. I wonder if a poll would give any quantifiable results, well, obviously quantifiable but more to the point, useful.

Okay, I'm back. I think this is as close as there is:

Reviews of Suppliers - E-Cigarette Forum

There are positive and negative reviews in there. All of suppliers.

Ok, I spent some time reading that section. Trouble I find is what Untamed Rose mentioned, all the "backup guidos" jumping in and bashing the reviewer. Most of the reviews were stupid, in other words the reviewers sounded like dumbasses with no objective basis other than their own opinion with little fact. Others had legitimate gripes. In either case the threads seem to turn into a fiasco when the FOR crowd sees their vendor being criticized. I'm not sure I would take any good or bad reviews from that section. I think that section should only allow a post from the reviewer and a response from the vendor with interaction between the two and no outside interference. This way we can read history without uninvolved influence. Just because I love a vendor doesn't give me teh right to tell you that you're wrong about your negative experience, and vice versa. Why the hell did I start this rant? My apologies for serious matters in the chit chat section. :) Turbines to speed, atomic batteries to power.....to the bat-pool Robin!

I liken the reviews here to TripAdvisor reviews. I've seen fantastic reviews for restaurants and such on TripAdvisor and absolutely hated their food and/or service. I've also seen a few horrible reviews of restaurants and thought the reviewer was asking for too much and/or just didn't have similar tastes as we do.

Food and flavors are just so terribly subjective. Even wine connoisseurs often give bizarre reviews of wines that I find reminiscent of ' canine halitosis post-mastication of feline fecal matter'. (Don't look at me like that! I have dogs, they have this thing for cat turds.) Perhaps I have a very novice, narrow palate, but I can't help but think some folks are bat:censored: crazy when they recommend or decry something that I either find repulsive or mouth-watering.

Service, and often reviews of it, are also pretty subjective. I'm a fairly undemanding person and I don't ascribe to the mantra that "the customer is always right". If someone sends me an email that's rather short or to-the-point or (God forbid) doesn't email me at all, I don't get my panties in a wad. I keep in mind that they're running a business and are not my psychologist. If I order a product and get it in a timely manner, I'm happy. Once I get that product, if I don't like it, then I won't order it again.

I just spewed pepsi outta my nose. I should not have been drinking when reading this. I relate to this all to well, my dogs are feline fecal matter connoisseurs of the most discerning kind.

As for the reviews comments, I agree. There really is no subjectivity to layman reviews. There really isn't supposed to be though. That's what I mean about not allowing anyone other than the vendor and reviewer to post in that type of thread. We should read them, make our own choices and then make our own decisions followed by a review of OUR experience. The reviews are then all there for everyone to count/compare/read and continue the "make our own..." thing. If you were not the one experiencing this transaction, you should not be allowed to weigh in just because you and the vendor have swapped war stories and you like their package. Pun intended.

Yeah, I've had that terror in my avatar drag me across the street to delve in some gourmet feline feces. I've actually gotten quite adept at avoiding the usual piles on our morning walks. In fact, on Saturday, I pointed out an area for my husband to swing wide around since he had Bean's leash. He didn't listen and thought I was exaggerating. 3 second later, into the mulch she goes and comes out with a nice hunk of doo.

It was lovely...so lovely.

Even better is that it consistently makes her sick. So we get to smell it twice.

Witness folks! The evolution of a thread.

My dogs sneak around trying to get to the poo-du jour and they watch for me to see if I'm stalking them. Little ninjas. Well, no, BIG ninjas. Anyway, my GF says that feeding them pineapple will cause their own poo to taste bad and will stop them from going after each others. Don't know if yours do that too, but mine do. Yes. I'm the proud owner of poo eating K-9's. Trained. Adorable. Give my life for them. Poo eaters none-the-less.

Omigosh! I got my schedule today for the Fall 2010 semester. Registering for classes at my college has changed drastically. You register yourself online, and you don't really get to pick what times you'd like, and many of my classes only had one time slot, but I never figured out how to view it. So I just threw caution to the wind and said screw it. I'm not a morning person and I hate 5 day weeks. I know I know, I am going to suck at whatever job I get, but I'll cross that bridge later. So when my schedule was mailed to me, I had no idea what my week was going to be like.. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. Check it out!!

3724 BIM 150 Y01 - Online Course
3391 BIT 185 70 - W 6:00pm - 8:50pm
30347 BIT 260 01 - TR 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm
30297 BIT 266 70 - R 6:00 pm - 8:50 pm
3211 BUS 190 70 - M 6:00 pm - 8:50 pm

When your earliest class is at 1:30pm, it's gonna be a good semester.

Just FYI in case someone asks: BIM = Business Information Management, BIT = Business Information Technology, BUS = Business.

Guess what my major is? lol

My kids would be sooo jealous of this schedule!
