i don't think it looks bad.. I like the new set up. I would just like it a whole lot more dark again

You won't find me disagreeing with the reading the screen part at all.
On the plus side, I'm going to have to take more frequent breaks to avoid eye strain and a headache. Maybe I'll clean the house before I head out of town. That way any robbers can enjoy a nicely sanitized house should they decide to come to visit.
Something has changed in just the past hour. The contrast is much better. I'm not having to strain to read it anymore. Guess they're getting all the kinks out. I need to learn to be more patient......I'll put that on my list of things to do

An upgrade to a bulletin board software is like updating the operating system on your computer. You get the new one installed and suddenly 20 things that weren't broken are now broken. So you have to go upgrade those 20 things. Once that is done now you find out 10 new things are broken because of those upgrades so now those 10 need upgrades. Bulletin board software is some of the biggest pain in the rear upgrades that can be done. (I am a site admin for another forum.)
By the end of today they will have a lot sorted out. New skins is usually a fairly easy fix. There will be other issues that will take time to iron out. But performance wise the upgrade from V3 to V4 is a very good upgrade. In the long run the boards will be better off. Just give it some time.

The black theme they just added is nice. I'm not going to complain that they misspelled 'blackened' because it's so nice.
Blackened Red is even nicer. Who to I talk to to get them to add a 'Blackened Blue' ??

As for everyone else, a quick hi! We are getting our house refinanced and I just must say how much I HATE FHA loans. Your house has to be freaking perfect! We had a room in the middle of a remodel and we have to finish it before they'll approve the loan. We had planned on finishing it over the winter, but noooo. Husband and I both had to take today off because the appraiser was nice enough to say if we can get it done in a day, he'll just take new pictures and pretend he never saw it unfinished. One day!!! So we were up until 3am last night spackling. Now we are sanding and touching up. Then priming. Then painting. We have to pull this off by 7pm today. To add to that, both of my husband and I have had doctor's appointments today so we've been switching off who works when the other is gone. It sucks working alone and my back is killing me. Whiny enough for you? Sorry, I just needed to rant.
