i bought the 4.99 charger from madvapes and it has connectors for 9v batts :)

I assume most people buy the multi chargers, the one you bought only charges one battery at a time, which is it's drawback. Also, the problem with a 9v is that when you regulate it to 5v, you burn off those other 4 volts, which is a lot of heat to dissipate. Depending on the chip, it might take it, but it will heat your box up quite a bit, potentially melting wires and the plastic on the box itself. It's just not as good of a choice for our needs as the other batteries that are out there.

There is a regulator that doesn't bleed off the extra voltage, I seen it in the "evercool mod" thread. If I'm not mistaken ( and I prolly am ;) ), the 9v batt can't handle the amperage needed.

Wow, just catching up on the TV forum and I am glad for your letter Sallana. I have never purchased and based on the arrogance I saw in his replies, I don't think I will. To be an owner you must have some tact. David/FSUSA e-mails to me are very short but no where close to rude - just brief (and very helpful/to the point.) What I saw from Mr Vapor was pure arrogance. No, you can never please everyone but to take a 'go piss off' approach that I read (not just in your complaint but in other threads as well) is a turn off.

He wants to say that people are quick to blame the juice and not a list of other reasons. Ok, valid observation. But his weakness is he failed to admit that it just MIGHT be the juice. (As proven by your comments/replies and the comments/complaints of many people.) His attitude is the problem is anywhere/everywhere else but him; it is the fault of 'your' equipment, 'your taste buds', his suppliers, etc. The professional response would have been, thank you for your observations, I don't think there is a problem but let me whip up a batch and get 10 'regular' people to taste it and let me know what they think.

I am glad you are getting a refund from all that and I am glad I can see his colors.

Yup! I've got one of those sitting right here waiting for me to do something with it. You can get one free, but they are $8 after that so they aren't exactly something most people will use. Can't wait to get mine into something and make my first adjustable mod tho.
