Online they offer a digital one for a couple bucks.....easier than reading an analog.........ok you guys got me to say it:p. But for testing purposes a cheap meter is all people need around here and IMO every ecig user should own one, and know how to test resistance and voltage. Not like it's hard I just think a lot of people see it as something high tech, when if someone put a very basic vid up everyone would be able to do the basics in a few minutes.

I dunno, I guess maybe I'm a tad overboard........with the tolerances of attys I check the resistance of them prior to using. You got a shorted atty, well I've seen where people fried 4 batts before finding the reason, whereas with a meter it would have been one. boB

what kind of meters? I'm 5 minutes from harbor freight (I just fixed their doors last month).

Quite the weekend for me here. I took Friday off to take care of remodeling stuff so our house appraisal would be fine for our refinance. My husband and I kicked that in the but, but were dead tired after two days of hard work. Saturday I wake up and find out my computer isn't working (I am typing on my husband's now). Normally that wouldn't be a big deal BUT I only got it about 4 months ago, it is the one I use exclusively for work so all of my jobs are on there, I have tried calling support all weekend long and thy are closed for the holiday weekend, and because I took Friday off I have some projects at work that are "must get done today" types on Tuesday. Ugh, so yeah, that blows.

Here's the best part though. Last week I ordered two mods, yay for me because I've never had a mod before. So Thursday my brand new H16 battery breaks. Fine no problem, I have 3 ego batteries and a mod coming Saturday so it shouldn't be a problem. Mod arrives and the batteries aren't charged. Ugh the battery charger I ordered is coming with the other mod that still isn't here. Ok, so fine 3 ego batteries should get me by just fine. Well now my ego charger stopped working completely and the one spare I had I JUST sent out in a PIF. I wasn't even considerin the fact that I might need a back-up. So now I have 1 fully charged ego batt left and a holiday weekend to deal with to add to shipping issues. Argh!!!! I am moments away from freaking out!

Nope, nothing. Had a PT and PIF'd it. Had 510 batteries and PIF'd those. I do have a friend that I gave an ego kit to and she's yet to use it. I JUST remembered this. Hopefully she's not out of town for the weekend, but I'm guessing she probably is. As soon as she gets back I can get the charger from her and then replace it with another when one I've ordered comes in. Still means I'm going to have to go about 8 hours without which is a LONG time for me considering my PV never leaves my hand. I WILL NOT BREAK DOWN AND HAVE A CIGARETTE!

check the battery connector - the ego battery charger I have pushes the center contact down in the helo 16 and then it stops working. have to wiggle it back up with a safety pin. vice versa too the ego don't like the helo charger.
