I just have to brag for a min... i am such a proud momma!!!! My son came home from school w/ his map test scores........and he is brilliant!!! I knew that.. but omg...he scored the highest ever in science 99%, 709 which is as high as u can go, and in the 96%, 714 ..706 and higher is advanced for math, and 82% in communication arts 698 out of 702, which isnt real good, but good to me! I was crying when he showed me this!!! I am sooooo proud of my baby!!!!! wooohooooo

I am so happy for you AND your son! What is a map score? Is that like a meap? Michigan Educational Assessment something or something lol. Given to kids in 4th 7th and 11th grades.

Someone said Friendly's?! All I remember from age 3-8 is going to Friendly's on Fridays for a happy face ice cream, and a witch when it was fall.. They do have one in Florida, but its 150 miles away in Orlando

yeah i guess... something like that..MAP...Missouri assessment program...from grades 5-8th...there is advanced, proficiant, basic, and below basic..he got advanced on science and math, and proficient on the Com. Arts.... I is so proud... he will get medals, and a VIP card that will provide him free admission to any event at school...yippie.. that can get expensive!!

In Michigan kids got $4,000 for college if they scored at a certain level in 11th grade. They called it the Promise Scholarship. They would get it over 3 years. Here's the rub. They ran out of money when my son was in his second year and my daughter in her first!!!

I've tried applewood, espresso, peach, cherry cola, and honey flue nut from BWB. I can honestly say I love them all, with espresso being my favorite. His stuff is just so much different and cleaner tasting, at least to me.. If anyone wants to trade some malty for some applewood, let me know
