So if I am putting all this jumble together the 510 setup with boge cartos will be good for strong flavors like tobacco, coffee and I assume cinnamons. For my more delicate/fruit flavors I might do better by buying a 510 to 801 adaptor and a drip tip.
Please tell me I am getting this right.
PS - is there such a thing as a 510 to 901 adapter or am I pushing my luck LOL
And let me say thanks to both/all of you.
yup there are adapters ...lox gave you one link ...they're also about a dollar cheaper than that at madvapes...
as for your other question.... the boge's are a bit higher resistance...I'd use them for the fruit flavors
the coffees and tobaccos I'd run a 510 or a 306 (though you wouldn't be able to use the cone with a 306 if your 510 setup is an eGo)
the 510 battery pushes about 3.1V.... (#s in () are at 3.7V)
as far as wattage (which translates to heat) you got
1.5Ω LR atty ...................6.41W.........(9.13W)
1.8Ω LR atty...................5.34W..........(7.61W)
2.0Ω LR atty..................4.85W...........(6.85W)
joye 510 atty.................4.18W...........(5.95W)
306..............................3.84W...........(5.48W)
boge cartos...................2.83W...........(4.03W)
knock off 510s like slb.....2.75W...........(3.91W)
the short 3.5Ω 801 atty..2.75W...........(3.91W)
801.............................2.75W...........(3.91W)
901............................2.60W............(3.70W)
if you notice very little change in the resistance of the atty makes huge differences in the heat/wattage ....
as far as the 1.5 LR atties...those are available in 510, 306, 801, 901
the 2.0 ones are available in 510 and 801 (and 801 shortie)
so regular 801s and 901s are going to run cool...the boges middle of the road to coolish... and the 510 and 306 fairly hot... when they're all compared
