That trip sounds freaking awesome tho... wish i could go ...also very nice offer u put up on the DIY......so many ppl r upset we missed that..lol.... I am hopin that PA co op is about here... i need that stuff!!! and do u know if the PA feeler is gonna be a co op??

Yeah, I only live like 30 miles from Ghettysburg. I always am looking out into my back yard wondering if I'm going to see a ghost soldier!
I am not in the PA co-op thread, so I don't know if it's gonna be a go or not.

I just don't believe in ghosts.



Besides I'd s**t myself if I ever saw one. Probably ruin the tour for everybody else. Lol

Well, I'm agnostic. And I don't believe in ghosts because I've never seen one. But what better chance to go to a haunted place and see for yourself if they exist or not.

I'll find out and let you know.

Never been to Gettysburg. I want to, though! I live a few minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, they have haunted tours all the time.. I want to go to Eastern Penn? Is that the name of the place? I think I need coffee, then I will remember, maybe..

I sent requests on FB to a few.. hope that was alright! (the ones working that were posted) Heading back to get a kitten soon! About another hour and a half, I would imagine..

Redgirl I spent a month total in Gettysburg. Fantastic place. If you love history,
Skip the tour and go sit after dark at Spangler Spring.
Just a place in the road in the woods right on the battlefield,
Creepiest place I have ever been LOL
We camped at the only campground that is right on the battlefield, but it is a private campground
members only and pretty small.

Darn I am not awake yet , cant remember names. There is a big school there , with a big bell tower copula, that is an interesting place after dark.

The wheatfield and devils den is cool too,
You cant wander the battlefield after 10 pm but beings we were camped right on it that didnt apply to us really,
You can still drive the roads,you have to to get to town. Gburg is not like any park you have ever been to because it actually surrounds the town of Gburg. Which is why the town is much smaller then you would think,
It literally cant get any bigger, it is surrounded by and really part of the battlefield, and the battlefield encompasses miles !

If you really want the creeps go to the cashtown inn for lunch or even stay there. it is on the road to gBurg where the
confederate generals stayed on the way to town,

you can book a room there , do it early though because they get booked up being a haunted hotel LOL

Taps did a show on it once. It is a cool place .

Ooh mini, that's awesome! My husband & I walked around the battlefield, but for living as close as I do, I really should go over there more often. Yeah, I heard that the Cashtown Inn is pretty haunted. I did watch the live show when TAPS was there. That was pretty cool.

My friend is from Montana and never has been to the east coast, so I'm sure she'll love it. We grew up together and always watched scary shows and played Ouija board & all that fun stuff.

My husband lost his Grandmother in April of 2007. I lost my Grandmother in April of 2008. When we were making our wedding plans, the first thing we had to do was pick a date. My mother.. who is rarely good for anything pointed out that my Grandmother's and Grandfather's Anniversary was September 12th, and in 2009, it fell on a Saturday. I told Sam that I'd really like to honor and remember my Grandmother by choosing that date for our Wedding. When we brought this up to Sam's mother, thinking it might be a bit tacky... She cried and said, "That's my moms wedding Anniversary as well".

Maybe it was just coincidence.. But I like to think it was something more than that. The same date had significance to both Sam and I, and that year it just happened to fall on a Saturday.. if it had fallen on a Monday, we'd have had to pick a different date or wait 6 years. We knew that there would be no better time.

Today, I not only celebrate my Anniversary... I celebrate the love of both of our Grandmothers and I remember them with pride and joy. They were both loving, giving, and if there is a heaven somewhere.. They are most definitely prized angels.

I stand by our choice of wedding date. And I thank whatever the powers may be that they aligned that so perfectly. I just wanted to share that with you guys
