One of my guys called from the road.(not who I was just yelling at BTW) Asked me if I want any Taco Bell (nearest one is an hour away so we dod't get it much).
I was all warm and fuzzy there for a minute.
then he said - can I put it on the company cc I don't have any money.

Well first I would shake my head in disbelief. then perhaps I would wish my parents were still alive so we could have a little conversation. But then I also would recall the words fumunda cheese. Then I would loose my appetite and go back to internet surfing leaving this beautiful smoked chicken sandwich untouched.
In an ethical POV...it's wrong to do FC b/c it's wrong to alter a little girls body without knowledgeable consent, all for a needless surgery. It puts her health at risk by doing so.
Some argument can be made of MC, they dont get a choice, it's unnecessary, and adds health risks.
They are both cosmetic surgeries, forced on children, pushed by cultures for no real reason other then "it's always been done"
Thought FC is much much more extreme...it's kinda hypocritical to say this one is wrong..but the other is ok.
So it would be better to cut it off and sew her up as a newborn???

Well except for the fact that FC is undertaken for the sole effect of ruining the pleasure of sex for women so that they neither enjoy nor seek sex because as everyone knows women are weak and without this barbaric practice would be off doinking every man they meet.
MC on the other hand was a direct reflection of the regions inaccessibility to running water and reluctance to bathe. There are still cases of horrible festering peni in regions where bathing is still not a common daily ritual. I agree that MC may be less necessary in the industrial nations but I think when we use even the same terminology we demean the poor women who are subjected to this horrific ritual.
I wonder who gave it less than a five, lol. Like who actually took time to honestly rate the Chit Chat thread??
Look -- flying squirrel! (my wife was a pediatrics SA/PA specialist, I'm much happier since she decided that caring for Bubband and pets was a preferable vocation -- I bow to those who can work in that field)

I do agree with you, IMWylde. The purposes of each are very different. The biggest issue is, in the areas where this accepted and common practice, it would actually be more demeaning for the women who didn't have this done. It's a societal issue that has to be corrected through multiple means aimed at eliminating a century old religious moral.
While this example may be trite, look at how long it has taken for society to accept that all men are created equal much less that women are equal to men. I'd argue that we're still not there in many cases even in the progressive US. Want a prime example? Look at men's restrooms and track how many have diaper changing stations. Last I checked, men had hands and were perfectly capable of changing a baby's diaper but those changing stations didn't start popping up in men's restrooms until this decade. Many still don't have them - I know, I ask my husband just about every time he comes out of one. Another example is the handicap accessibility of buildings. Look around your workplace and see how accessible it would be if you had a mobility impairment. Some buildings are great but others leave much to be desired.

My sons are MC...I couldnt see doin it later on to male or female.. but doin it at all to females.. just doesnt seem right.....now i could nominate a few woman who should be sterilized to not and to a brood of children that is not wanted or cared for! That I would vote for!!!
