Oh yeah. My brother and me used to have an archery range setup in our warehouse years ago.

Its been a while since I pulled a bow, I would have to work like mad to do it again,
Jim crossbow maybe? I could get a permit, but I can't bring myself to doing it.....part stubbornness, and admitting I'm old, and part feels like cheating. Hiya M and S! boB

No they'll laugh at me for using a girlie bow. Lol
They used to make fun of me as it was - short arms so I had a "lil kids bow" lol
There are those here that hunt the hogs with bow, I will tell you , a hog commands respect,

I had what is called a handy gun, Very short cheap little thing with 2 barrels,
one was a 38 cal one was a 16 gauge
Well I got it at a gun show and we took it to the range to fire it ,
Hubby took it out and there were 5 shooters,
4 of them carrying duck guns , double barreled and really really expensive guns,
they all gave him a look and were snickering at the little handy gun,
Good deal ! So dish some more!

Until he outshot all of them!
Then they were looking at thier fancy guns and quite puzzled and a bit embarressed LOL
It is not the weapon, it is the person using it sometimes .
So tell your buddies to go take a hike if they want to tease you
