zbass...no hunting, jsut getting out of the city for a few days with some buds. Should be a good time. Went to Albert Pike a few months ago for the same thing. Just before that nasty storm came through that killed all those poor people... My gf was worried to death last time. Made me get a weather radio to take with me this time.

On another note, I'm looking for a Doberman pup... anyone know someone reputable I could contact? Ex gave my dog away, time to get a new one...

You might check petfinder.com for a dog. They have a lot of pure breeds through their rescue groups and also tend to get a lot of puppies when there's been a big bust on a puppy mill.

lol yeah that's me too.... I have a great memory, and I dont write a lot down... it's like cooking, a little of this a pinch of that, some nic juice to spice it up and voila yummyness!!

mmm.. can i come....when i make lasagna it takes for ever cuz i even make the sauce from scratch, and it weighs like 10 lbs..lol

I have a stroganoff I make with steak too. I just know he likes the hamburger better.

He's actually our lasagna cook. Does exactly like you do, Missy, and it ends up taking all day long to make and then ends up weighing a ton. It's another dish he won't make when it's above 60 since it's such a heavy, filling dish.

So, no chili, no lasagna, no hamburger soup, no potato soup, no tortilla soup...sometimes I regret moving further south.

Too funny. I used to get mad when my attys would pop juice at me, or draw too hard on a cart, but now the juices I use are so good I don't mind.

I do... it tastes like one of those little hard strawberries and cream candies, thsoe are so good! and so is this juice! I feel selfish keeping it all... I know it's just a sample, but I may have to share it with my friend....

Asharp, your thread reminded me of the saying 'Choose your battles'. I can't tell you how many stinking times I've been told to choose my battles. I really, really hate that saying. I've gotten into the habit of retorting, "Sure, if I got to choose my battles, I would. Evidently most of my battles choose me. If not me, then who will fight it?"

Apparently there isn't enough coffee in my home to even begin to wake me up. I've had 3 cups and it's after noon and I STILL want to crawl back into bed! I suppose that's a bad idea as I have two babies to look after...but dang...*yawn*!
