Yea, I am worried this winter. I think San Diego might dive into the 60's. :)

Just make sure it's in the 80s in February while I'm there for a week. Otherwise, I will blame you and only you!

The forecasters might say it's the fault of some front or some little boy (El Nino) but I'll know the truth!

I'm more looking forward to my 50s when our youngest is raised...but at the rate I'm going someone will be wheeling me around:facepalm::laugh: boB

Enjoy your 40's ! I had a blast in mine. I honestly think your age is the fun part of life. You know more and are still feeling like doing all the things you want to do.

Hi gramakitty,
would you explain to me how chicken feed works as cat litter? thanks.
They actually make some cat litter out of corn now... I think it's called world's best. I always worry about that stuff since moist corn can grow a nasty fungus that will mess you up if you inhale it... or at least mold, which I am allergic to. Personally I love the all crystal litter. It dries stuff up fast!

Well, 80's in the 'winter' probably wont happen but you should have nice clear skies in the 60's and 70's; depending on where you will be out here.

I like being alone and I hate sharing a bed (or my closet and bathroom).
I've also never met anyone who didn't annoy the crap outta me after a few months.
I can't imagine how people stay married. I guess I'm just selfish. I don't even like house guests after a few days.
Hey, I don't like any of that stuff either... why aren't I single? lol
Guys always pout at me when I tell them I want my own bedroom... I thought it was women who were supposed to want to cuddle? :p

Yesterday was one heck of a day. Started with a soccer game for my son and ended up at the hospital for the wife. What a way to waste most of a day. She is fine, just stumbled and tore the ligament that runs the length of the foot. Killed most of my day. I was brain dead by the time I got home.
Ouch! Is she able to walk on it?

Well the crystal has alot of chemicals and silia gel that apparently can cause the cats all sorts of lung and gastro problems since they ingest it when they clean themselves. They make a point of scooping the litter at least once a day so I dunno, maybe where a mask?GKK/sue

yeah worlds best...
and now arm and hammer has a corn litter out too..

we've tried the crystal stuff and the A&H corn one now.... the corn one works better, lasts longer and is cheaper..

Silica dust can be bad if inhaled, but then so is clay... and pine... and moldy corn. We've gotten lucky and found a good brand, it's plain silica crystals, no nasty chemicals or perfume. It's no more dusty than any other litter we've ever used. (plus we really need the crystals since they will dry out the poop and one of my nasty kitties won't even bury it!)
