Of course there are sites that give you instructions on how to train your cat to use the toilet some even sell a kit .I don't think my cats would go for it and don't think I'd much care for it either unless they remembered to put the seat down and flush!LOL!!GKK
That must suck ,I was a nurse in my other life. Lucky she has other skills they will let her work.How long for recovery?GKK

On a related note, you know my guy not only leaves the seat up, he also refuses to acknowledge that he SHOULD put it down! His argument is "I'm being considerate by lifting the seat so I don't get any on it in the first place... if I have to lift the seat to go, why shouldn't you put it down to go?"

Well, mine tried that argument with me. I gave him two options:
1. Clean off my .... when it hits the toilet water
2. Put both the lid and the seat down when he's finished.
Evidently, he wisely chose the second.
I was shocked and appalled. My counter argument of: "Yeah, but if you're in a hurry and neglect to raise the seat, the worst that will happen is that you drip on the seat and have to wipe it off... If I'M in a hurry and fail to notice the seat it up, I land in the cold, possibly yucky toilet bowl!"
His retort?
"Well, that'll learn ya!"
I landed in the water at 8 months pregnant,Hubs always puts the seat down now.

I would think if I went into the toilet water one time I would check the seat position from then on. I mean how many times would you stick your hand on a hot stove before you realized not to?
It all seems kind of "DUH" to me.
Btw I pit the lid down. I hate the thought of the dog drinking from a toilet.
