If someone you knew came down with lung cancer would you bring up ecigs??

I think I might - but I'm pretty fearless about the possibility of making an ... out of myself. lol

How long since the diagnosis? How well do you know them? How well do you think you could describe a PV?

I ask the 1st because when the diagnosis is new they are wading through a ton of info. The mind flips over into auto mode while voices scream in your head "I have cancer!" So if s/he is newly diagnosed I think I'd wait just a bit until they've had the opportunity to let the info they've already rec'vd sink in.

The other 2 - well, I'd have no problem with someone I know well. Not sure how well I could "present" a PV to someone who doesn't know me well. I'm very verbal - a little too much  I think I'd throw too much info at one time...but that's me.

Isnt the reason most of us prefer to vape the health BENEFITS????

Cancer runs in my family, didn't know it until about a year ago. So anyone thae previously smoked, has followed me to vaping. I would completely tell them about e-cigs. if nothing else, some people are able to transition to e-cigs and then to nothing more quickly and with more success than just trying to drop the analogs cold turkey.

I'd think if you had lung cancer you would not want to inhale anything that could be considered an irritant. Vapor may not be bad, but it can irritate the lungs. Especially with some people's allergy to PG. Give it a week and see if he is trying to quit, then tell him about e-cigs and have him speak to his doctor. And make sure you tell him to take whatever the doctor says with a grain of salt and read between the lines. No doctor will condone e-cigarettes, but they might admit in a cryptic fashion that it's better than smoking... Especially if you have lung cancer.

It's 7 and I just gave the 3 minute warning. Little late tonight. The mom picking our oldest 2 up from Cross Country got held up and DH was held up due to a late meeting. Just had to listen to him rant on his way home - but he actually walked through the door in a good mood. Guess he got it out of his system.

vapor renu wild cherry sucks 2
dang what does a grumpy old vaper gotta do for some decent cherry

Only good cherries I've found are vaporstation's cherry almond and Perfumer's Apprentice maraschino cherry flavor.

Anyone watching The Event on NBC tonight? I'm a sucker for those kind of shows.

Maybe you could talk to your brother first or sister in-law. And yea Sallana, not sure how the Doc will take the vapor issue.

Well, speaking as one who kinda works with Drs - none will support e-cigs but when compared to analogs they will give a little room. Not happily but they will.
