Well its cold for us,62,we arent used to it.Kids have on hoodies and hats,lol.

Hello all...I am so glad it is Friday today. I may get a tree to set up with the kids. For anyone who has had an artificial one, any tips on buying one? I would like a prelit one, but other than that I don't know what to look for.

I bought an artificial one to cheer up my roommate a few years ago but I'm afraid I'm not much help. I was on a tight budget, so it's not a pre-lit tree. The one thing that I always miss from a real tree is the wonderful smell.
Those pine tree smelling diffusers or oil reeds are great. It can make even the cheapest tree seem real.
Whichever tree you pick, I'm sure the kids will love it. Good luck and have fun!

(btw the yankee candle "christmas wreath" plug in thingy smells awesome)

No, for realz, I have only made it a couple times and sent missy my 2nd incarnation and it wasn't as good as the first, so I don't really know what the hell the recipe is! I think that I replaced the 2nd one with FA strawberry instead of PA strawberry, but I don't remember for sure. I will try to make some for you if you want, though.

Walmart has 6.5' pre-lit trees for like 30 bucks. Lowes/Home Depot, usually has some good deals.
