Good morning everyone :)

Can someone tell the wind to stop blowing? It's been going on 3 days now and it's just getting tedious. Bring 28 degrees to feel in the teens.... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Smart grey kitty Amy has found my heating pad to warm her ample tush. :)

And Whiskey? When are you going to start to market them???? lol!

Welcome back Trish!

Haha Dark...Thats going to be my tree also...5 cats+ Christmas tree= MESS lol

I have 5 cats in the house as well. And a 3 month old puppy and 2 toddlers most of time...mine is tied to a screw in the wall and I still fear for it's safety.

with the two overly rambunctious kittens, we've decided to put the tree up on the 23rd and will be taking it down the 26th. Kind of sucks the fun out of decking the halls, but better than the alternative. When my older kitties were kitties, they knocked our Christmas tree over, and the heavy ceramic angel at the top went through our glass table and shattered it to pieces. We will not be making a similar mistake again (coffee table is now gone, however)

Charmed: the first year hubs and I were married we had an old console TV that had died and the new TV was sitting on top of it since we didn't have a stand for it. I hammered nails into the top for our stockings and bought a poster with a picture of a roaring fire and taped it to the Tv screen!

I love your construction tree idea - and the little ones can trace their hands and color them then cut them out and "hang" them on the tree!

Tree and ornaments are sitting in the living room waiting to be put up. We have 13 (yes, I said 13) kitties right now. 7 are under a year. I may tape a construction paper tree to the wall and leave it at that.

I like the way you think...lol
I may hang my tree from the ceiling.. lol

Paint a tree on the wall, then hang some ornaments on it.LOL,it works!!

This reminds me of when I taught the 5yr olds. We took large sheets of drawing paper and cut an oversized x-mas tree. I let them color it green with the brown trunk. Then I gave them all paper ornaments in two matching pieces to color and decorate. I then stapled the tree to the door-as I stapled I shoved plastic bags between the paper and door to poof it out. It was 3 dimensional. We then hooked their ornaments to the tree and placed gifts on the floor-under the tree. That was so cute and so much fun.
I love old memories. Thanks guys for bringing back the memories!!!!!
