Tried mixing a bit of 0PG BBB yesterday, interested in how it does with a day or two of steeping (not bad fresh). Gotta break out the new bottle of black cherry tonight, see how it mixes.

Another day in the mid-40s, cold tomorrow, then two more days of warm -- it's nice to see the snow and ice melting a little.

Lox- what a beautiful, thoughtful and ever so useful gift

I bought my sweetie/meanie something Pink Floyd that he doesn't own already. Score: Pint glasses with album covers on them. His little hippie/nerdy heart will melt. I also promised to take the stuffed animal, Opus from Bloom County, that I gave him in 1990 to the dry cleaners.

Lox is the most romantic man I've ever come across. Not only do the pics not do it justice, he sent me a lavender rose bush today to plant in my garden. {sigh} Love that man.

Got to spend a little time with my parents tonight. DS#3 had a basketball game - his last for the season - and my mom & dad made a special trip over the river and down the highway to see him play. It was so exciting to see my mom negotiate the steps. Her hip replacement in November is healing very VERY well. Due to the steps and ice all winter they couldn't risk her coming...and the weather warmed and took care of the ice yesterday and today!
