Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to everyone for brightening my day. It's been a rought couple of days and it's great to be able to pop in and find something to smile at. You guys and gals are the bestest!

Trish, did you get a mod that take those little 10440 batts? I thought I saw you did somewhere. I found two of those in my stash if you need them.

Thanks Trish, It will eventually I am sure. I got "notified" yesterday that I won't have a job come May.. just got to start hitting the pavement and find something else..
Super sorry about that Carrie. The economy now a days is horrible. I've had the same job for over 20yrs. Our contract is up in July--it may be the last one. I can't imagine what's it's like to know for sure. I'm sure life has something great (and better) in store for someone like you, though.
I am sure it does trouble. I want to take a class for a Pharmacy Tech. they can't outsource that and it's portable so if we end up moving I should still be able to find a job... now to just find someplace that is having a class over the summer that I can get unemployment to pay for and I should be good to go.

Yesterday my good friend & her hubby got very bad news about their baby. They spent the day being poked and prodded. Many of the tests will take over a week to get results. It has turned their lives upside down.
Today my other friend's FIL had a stroke.
And another very very dear friend with admitted she's been having "episodes" which she thinks are seizures. Saw her primary Dr today and will (hopefully) see her neurologist tomorrow. she already deals with MS - so this is very serious.
I've been having some very serious talk with God about all this: But I keep getting his voice mail! LOL

I'm ok with losing the job, I was really starting to hate it. I am just getting tired of hearing everyone say "I'm sorry" or "they are crazy to lay you off" that's been harder to deal with than the job being cut.. and I have 6 more weeks of having to hear that.. I hope it tones down soon. I am tempted to put a sign on the outside of my office saying... Please don't feel sorry for me, I am actually glad to be leaving this rat hole" but I figured my boss wouldn't appreciate it and I would lose what little I get for a severance package.

I think I'm the one having the blond moment. Lol I did take a PIF that is a box mod.... I havent got it and can't remember what batts. It takes.
I have them constantly. I think I need to dye my hair so the madness will stop.
