I can imagine how frustrating it must be not to get closure on Loopy's loss. You did the right thing even if the result was not to your satisfaction.

Lynlee, my brother had a dog that returned to him in a month, after being lost/taken? miles from home and his wife had a cat return in 4 years. Hugs for Loopy, you and your Mom.
Im back,just got home.Still pretty busy here.I cant find a visiting nurse to help with wound care thats covered on my insurance and I dont want to do it.It scares me.I will,but Im not liking it.Yuck!
Welcome back Keyz! Glad you and hubby are home safe and sound. Yeah, wound care is yucky - I hope you find someone, but....you gotta do what you gotta do. It'll be fine.
keyz when my mom had her bypass they had to do a crossover surgery and she had incisions on either side of her stomach. Due to their location they would not stay closed and I had to do the most awful thing......soak gauze in saline solution and pack her wounds with it!! It hurt her even though she tried to act like it didn't. I hope you find someone else tht your insurance covers but if not you'll do just fine
Crap Daisy, I forgot to check out pretties for my PV, stupid busy week. Totally doing that after work tomorrow!
Hubby bought a truck today...I told him if I hear "we're broke" once, when I want something that's cheap, Ima beat him and sell all his vehicles. So he's paying for my PV pretties! (though he doesn't know it yet) I also need new nail glue (how do I keep snapping my bloody nails?!) Ooooo and some nail polish, Sallys has some nice deals

Dh here just bought a new truck too. I think the convo went exactly the same here. He basically pays for all my hobbies too, since they're cheap. To bad we aren't closer. We could shop for pretties together. 
Good almost afternoon! It started out blindingly (but happily) sunny, now over cast and spitting. Frost advisory tonight. Make me glad I didn't subcomb last week and plant. My hands have been itching too, but my hip & back and common sense said "no".

I am spending my time trying to teach a girl who takes 3 hours to get ready for bed and asks you every 3 minutes "has it been an hour yet? i am ready for church" how to tell time.
Teaching a boy who will JUMP up off the couch watching TV and RUN to the bathroom, only to stand there and look around confused because he cant remember why he went in there, about taking proper fractions and turning them into improper fractions,
trying to convince a 3 year old that he DOESNT need milk when he is still puking,
and dealing with a preteen BOY who is lost as a goose while doing reading comprehension....
My day is filled with Irony and oxymorons...
