I'm not a lawyer. I'm not even a HR person but I'm a person who has had to take FMLA leave twice in my life. FMLA should have been offered to you by your HR person, if the business has a HR person. From what I understand, businesses can skirt around the whole FMLA rules by being a small company(under 50 employees) but you should be able to, at least, get unemployment if you were a full-time employee just by claiming FMLA at the unemployment office. It was just a part time job.I just didnt expect it.They said the manager was mad because she had to fill my shifts so she hired someone.Its just a small family business and we were all kinda close so Im pretty shocked.Ill get over it.Im just kinda hurt and upset about it right now.Maybe its meant to be,and something better is on its way.

Happy Mother's Day everyone. Even though I'm a more than full grown adult with 2 children (they gave me a dozen roses and a pumpkin muffin), Mother's Day seems to mean more for me about my Mom. This will be the 2nd Mother's Day since she passed over and I miss her dearly.

Mom was very pretty and although I don't think I'm anywhere as pretty she was, I look a lot like her. I dyed my hair blonde several years ago and had to change it back because when I looked in the mirror, I kept seeing her and not myself! lol! Meanwhile, I keep getting teary today.
As the to eaglets, I am just in awe of the whole process from hatching and what fabulous parents they have. And they're getting soooo big so quickly!!!

But I do think you are right, I have always believed that God doesnt close a door without opening a window- there is a reason for this- sometimes its just hard to know what the reason is..
Happy Mothers day to all the mothers- Love the pictures of your moms- its amazing how everyone looked so put together and neat back then- I dont know if it was the style of dress, the way they carried themselves or what, but they had poise and always looked respectful. I love looking at old pictures- the most heartbreaking thing for me is to go into an antique or junk store and find old pictures that noone knows who they are or cares.

This is absolute Bullcrap. I don't think folks realize what it takes to look after a loved one who has received major surgery. Sadly this happened last month to another friend of mine who took time off to look after his mother who got cancer. The most ironic part of it, he worked in a hospital.
Just rubs me the wrong way, you know.

I have a question- Is there a place where I can go to talk specifically about ego/rivas?? I need to fiqure out what kind is what, and what will be compataible with what- I got an FS Ego today and it says it cant be charged wtih a Joye 510 charger-
and I have a RIva, eGo, and an FS eGo- I dont want to blow them all up- and I would like to know how to tell them all apart- So far I have found a little differnt bands, 2 of the brands have hard buttons, 2 have soft buttons, but they are differnt colors-

You should never charge a ego/riva with a standard 510 charger and vise versa. you will ruin the batteries/charger fast. A ego has the hard button and silver band and the riva has a gold band and soft button
Yea, I tried charging a regular 510 Bat with my first riva charger...lets just say I have a big melted spot on the charger. Needless to say, it still works, but I learned that lesson the hard way. Got rid of my regular 510's for that reason.
