morning! I've already been to the mechanic - grrrr. Another check engine light - this time they claim's it's a different sensor. god news is, it doesn't have to eb replaced - bad news is, unless I replace it the check engine light won't go off. I have a sensor that will tell you that your gass cap isn't screwed on tight - my cap is - but the senor thinks it's not.

NOT the way I wanted to start my Monday.

Check engine light can go on for a variety of reasons, gas cap is one of the easy ones. O2 sensors (before and after Cat) can trip it. Did you get the OBD code? Which sensor did they tell you was bad? You can also disconnect the battery for a short period of time and reset the system. However, if the sensor is in fact bad, the light will only stay out for a little while until the system BIT is complete.

OMFG- since when does it take an act of congress, 2 sockets, a combanation wrench AND some kleins to change ONE freakin battery? and since when do they cost 200.00~~!! ugggggg -- okay- wrecker is coming to get my truck, (for only 150.00- it would cost me 60.00 in deisel to drive it there...) cause its an hour to the mechanic (who wants a few thousand) and I dont want to warp the heads or anything- praying I didnt already :(

other than that- my morning is just freakin wondermous......

Dont you hate it when you have been using the same ego for 2 days- its chrome, and you search for 45 minutes, take apart your recliner, holler at the kids, and almost break down and cry, only to finally realize you put it on charger and are now vaping out of that pink one that you have moved 12 times?? ........

O2 sensors are annoying. In my truck there are more than one, so when one goes, you replace it and within a day the next one goes, until you've chased the whole way through the system. Right now my check engine is switching between off and on. It can't decide whether it's really lean on bank 2 or not.
