Morning all - yesterday was one of the longest days of my life and I hope to never repeat it. It was actually a day 10 weeks in the making and had the unfortunate and heart breaking end that was expected but still prayed to avoid.

Woke to a heck of a storm this morning - but the skies have cleared and the sun is shining and there is work to be done. Already ran a couple of errands and am working on a casserole. Going to be a crazy busy week - but aren't they all?

Some send me some more coffee - already killed the 1st pot!

I am vaping strawberry pie from a fluxomizer- so far it seems about like everything else. I think I am just expecting too much- I just loved the flavor of my marlboros so much, that I want a huge full flavor in vaping too- whereas you get more of a hint.

is it kinda like kissing someone who ate a peice of strawberry candy 30 minutes ago?

((((Dark))))) glad its over and I hope it gets better~!!!

Morning PIFers. Q4, I've noticed that there are some specific flavors that just pack a ton of flavor, but you have to be into them. You are right, most juices offer a hint of flavor. I was thinking my taste buds were broken for the longest time, but have come to accept that some flavors just don't stand out like you wish they would. If you like tobaccos, I'd try some of the Halo ones, and Puresmoker's Silver leaf tobacco was pretty good for me. Both strong, rich flavors.

ya know- I have tried one or two tabacco's and really didnt like them- there was one or two that I DID like- but I cant remember what they were- LOL
I think its more of a 'flavor explosion' that I am wanting in my mouth- with Cigs I had that all over taste- with vaping I tend to get a hint of flavor, with my heat and smoke- almost like smoking an ultra ultra light- except I DO get vapor and nic, just not taste, where as with a ulta ultra light I got taste, just no smoke or nic, unless I was sucking hard enough to jump start a harley. does that make any sense? or do Ineed more coffee?? LOL

I get more of a 'smell' of the 'taste' - which I guess makes sense- to be honest, I have gotten more 'taste' out of them when I spill some on me and can smell it wafting up off my shirt while I vape. LOL So, maybe its not the juice, or my defunct taste buds, its just my expectations of the enjoyment I should be having...

if thats the case, then i can lower my expectations- to not 'taste' but smell-

Maybe I am wanting to replace my craving for sweets, like candy and cake and such with the vape- because I cant eat candy or lots of sweets- My teeth are just... chalk- they break if I bite down wrong on an apple. LOL

REO Mini. It's out for delivery...wish it would hurry up! You have any experience with them?

No, but I've been very interested. You let me know how it goes, ok? BTW, I didn't get to get your package out before I left last weekend. (hangs head), but I'm going to try to get something out today!

I feel ya Q4, but don't give up! It has taken a while, and some lengthy experimentation, but there are in fact some strong flavors out there. You just have to find the one's that work for you.

This is very true. It's a journey, this vaping thing. And sometimes not a really fun one...but when it's good, it's AWESOME!

Yeah. I had a Mini and moved up to a Grand. Both REOs are great bottom feeders. What I found lacked in the Mini could be achieved with the Grand. That being said, the converse is true. The Grand was big and for comparison purposes, the Mini is smaller (more pocket/holder friendly). You could run 2 CR123s on the Grand, or an 18650 (6v or 3.7v, respectively). The mini is a 14500 (3.7v) only. I tried a few different attys on all versions, I settled into LR306 on an 18650 (or 14500 on the Mini). On the Mini that set up crushed the battery life. I was easily going through at least two batteries a day. On the Grand, an 18650 will last me a day, at least.

Side note, if you have any cinnamon type flavors (or anything really strong or lingering in taste), I would avoid running it in any REO. That is, unless you don't mind it lingering. I ran some Geoff's Blend (which I really like) in a bottle a month ago, it still has a slight Atomic Fireball/Cinnacide taste to my Granny Smith. However, that's part of the reason I'm running an Apple flavor instead of a Peach (or something else), the flavor is complimentary and like a Cinnamon Apple Treat.

Overall, I love my REO. Now, if I could just mate my REO, Darwin and my now sold ProVari, I would be set.

Flavors can be tough, one of the things that got me into DIY fairly early. Found I really like my own mixes, been vaping vanilla tobacco and black cherry tobacco mixes for several months. I also have some true sweet variants, vananaberry is the best, though I've settled into mainly the vanilla tobacco.

All of what they said Q4 ^^

I believe that finding your "flavor" your "all-day vape" is akin to finding your brand. It can make all the difference in the world. Like you, I also like a strong flavor (I used to smoke a strong menthol flavor) I quickly discovered that I did not care for the vendor juices, and like Mark, went right into DIY. I can make the juices as flavorful as I want, as strong (mg) or weak as I need, and whip up something fresh anytime I'm out. It takes a little practice, and I probably own WAY more drop 'flavors' than I need, because I was lucky enough to find my main squeeze! heh. Now I do alternate it a little, so I don't get too sick of it, but I stick to my main flavor: Blackberry Brandy (swedish fish runs a close second.. but getting it to taste as good as Loxy's is tough!) I'm also forever on the hunt to crack Julie's recipe <grin> and make a TRUE "Jules BBB"

Okay- SO- say I am like WAY into strawberrys right now- to the point I am drinking strawberry wine (and I dont drink)- make a strawberry cake at least once a week, have prefected a strawberry cream cheese filling with my cakes (just some strawberry extract and voila) , have strawberry candles set out- Imean I am just CRAVING them.

anyway- I have some nic juice. what else do I need to buy? to make my own flavors? what do I need? i cant spend alot of money,

SO- to make me a bottle of

Strawberry
adn a cupcake flavor- the buttercream type that I love from Tasty Vapor-

what do I need to buy- and I am ignorant when it comes to this- like dumb as a box of rocks-
:)

The strawberry is simple. A bit of PG or VG USP to help cut the nicotine level, plus strawberry flavoring. For VG, you can buy Glycerine USP at many drug stores (Rite Aid, Walmart. etc), typically in the area near bandaids -- it should be a clear 6 ounce bottle, just say Glycerin USP Skin Protectant, and the only ingredient should be glycerin USP 99.5% anhydrous (or higher %).

For flavorings, The Perfumers Apprentice (TPA) has some good stuff, though right now I'm using NaturesFlavors (to do some PG-free mixing).

Typically run 10% flavoring to start (3 ml out of 30 ml), though for single flavor mixes in 0 PG I often go to 20 % (6 ml in 30).
See if anyone is running a TPA coop. At 20 - 25% you get a strong flavor even in PG free.

Happy to send you a bit of strawberry flavoring if you want to give it a try.

What's your nic juice strength? What's your desired final nic level?

One of my all day vapes is a strawberry shortcake concocted by Nikhil and given to ejuicemeup prior to his opening PureVape. The recipe is at the site and tells you what you need to make it with the correct percentages. It's made mainly with FlavourArt flavoring which can be bought at ecigexpress.com for less than anywhere else.

This is a great site for learning DIY and the free software is easy peasy. Once you download the software you can open up the recipes. I hope this helps!
