My sister in law found this on the back porch- hussy wouldnt let me shoot it.....

OMG! What is it? I'm so scared of bugs and spiders. I found a few small ants in my bathroom (husband spilled some soda and obviously didn't clean it up well enough) and I had the whole house sprayed! I'd die if I saw a spider like that! It looks like the type of spider who could kill you! How would you even kill it? You may have to use a gun.

Serious arachnophobia here - snakes, bears, whatever - sure I respect them, but not scared of them... but spiders???
If I didnt scream like a girl then before the discharge of weaponry for something that size it would be a miracle.. sheesh.

Yes its a wolf spider- we think... LOL

I can deal with anything- ANYTHING- snakes dont bother me- lizards, all of it- my kids bring them in all the time for me to identify.


but SPiders, they know I will kill them if they come close to me with one.

Uggggggg they just freak me out. I honestly DIDNT know they would get that big- adn have never seen that big of a spider here- I have seen tarantula's in south Texas. but I would have SWORN we didnt have anything like that here.

of course, I was bitten once by a brown recluse.

I have the same issues with brown recluse......been bit 4 times.

Just a note on Wolf spiders. When you mow your grass is when they come up to your house. If you mow around your house first, and work your way out, they won't be as tempted to invade your space.

As for multiple bites from Back Widows and Brown Recluses (Brown Recleese?), "Wow!"

supposed to go pull corn today- but its already 105 in the shade- and i STILL feel like damnit. How do you get a headcold in the SUMMER? Ugggg... If I had any brains I'd have sneezed them out by now...

The kids are on a roll today- I have nver seen anyone able to ignore quite like a preteen. But I am vaping some vanilla custard buttercream cupcake and tasting it, waiting on my sudafed to kick in- so ALL is good.

We got something going around here as well. Allergies and/or colds are rough this time of year. I battled a sinus infection a month or so ago and now I have some other "bug". Not sure what it is, but I feel like I'm running at 70% all the time. Head, body, throat.... ugh...

Hey PIF!

So, I put the Burts Bees bug repelent stuff on my baby. It's kinda oily. I went to wash my hands and get my sandals so we could go play outside. I come back and Livi looks like biscuit dough . Almost a whole GIANT container of baby powder on her, the chaise, one of the dogs and 2 cats (all of whom were sleeping on the chaise). I'm so freakin' happy that it's her nap time!
