DH is currently attempting to make modifications to the basement walls to install his father's Day present(s) He got speakers off ebay for the Man cave - We're pretty sure one is blown - but he got 6 of the little buggers. It's already so bad that during some movies the floor in the office above vibrates and roars. (sigh) what is it with men and loud noise? 21 yrs of marriage and I haven't figured this one out. At least he doesn't embarrass me with his car speakers - those are "normal".

When dh and I were dating we would sit in his car all night while he re-wired his speakers and I sang along to whatever song he was using to calibrate them.

lol! Dark! I live in a house with 3 men and between the vibrations from the tv room (full surround sound), my younger son's room with his stereo video games going and my ex blasting music from his stereo, I think that there are earthquakes happening and the noise is sometimes deafening!

What's even more bizarre is that is works even better coming from a woman who isn't going out of their way to make a guy blubber. I'm infinitely more awkward around a conservatively dressed woman who is wearing her glasses, doing her chores, and going about life like nobody else exists. Which covers most mothers.

Women who go out of there way to attract attention rarely cause me pause.

I'm sorry is that comes across as chauvinistic, and if it is, then I'd love to know as my societal norms were different most of my life. It's only in the past ~ten years I've actually been exposed to.. err. Western / Strong women. I don't know how I ever lived without. -Magnus McMarried

FYI, for those cooking inclined I highly recommend you give Shirin Polo a try... with two suggestions. 1) Use white sugar even if raw is your normal inclination. And 2) use a saffron that is from a Greek or Middle Eastern market instead of the grocery variety (usually from Spain).

I had those chest pains too. I chalked it up to the E cig I had being too hard to draw a hit. Switched to 510. Pain is gone.
