I am getting excited- tonight we have shooting sports (after I bake 5 cakes) and tomorrow is the first meeting for my new association!! I got my reservations made for San Antone for training to be a shotgun instructor and my laundry pile is slowly dwindiling!!!! I am SOOOOOOO excited!!!

this is my wedding this weekend:
Introduction

Dearly beloved, we are assembled here in the presence of God and these witnesses to celebrate the joining of Terry and Sheila in the unity of marriage.
There are no obligations on earth sweeter or tender than those you are about to assume. There are no vows more solemn than those you are about to make.

There is no human institution more sacred than that of the home you are about to form.
True marriage is the holiest of all earthly relationships.
The state of matrimony is based this deep, invisible union of two souls who seek to find completion in one another.

Do you understand this? (Respond by yes, nodding, etc.)

Giving of the Bride

Who gives this woman in marriage?

Parents or Sponsors: We do.

The Challenge

Will you please face each other and join hands?

Terry, will you take Shelia, whose hands you hold,
choosing her alone to be your wedded wife?
Will you live with her in the state of true matrimony?
Will you love her,
comfort her,
through good times and bad,
in sickness and in health,
honor her at all times,
and be faithful to her?
And promise her that you will always be a steeler fan?

Shelia , will you take Terry, whose hands you hold,
choosing him alone to be your wedded husband?
Will you live with him in the state of true matrimony?
Will you love him,
comfort him,
through good times and bad,
in sickness and in health,
honor him at all times,
and be faithful to him?
And priomise him you will always be a steelers fan?

Exchange of Vows and Rings

As you take these I would have you remember:

To love is to come together from the pathways of our past
and then move forward
...Hand in hand,
along the uncharted roads of our future,
ready to risk
, to dream,
and to dare
.... And always believe that all things are possible
with faith
and love in God,
and in each other.

Will you repeat after me?

I Terry , take you shelia to be my wife,
to love and cherish,
from this day forward,
and there to pledge you my faith, love and will always cheer on the pitt. Steelers

I, Shelia , take you Terry , to be my husband
, to love and to cherish,
from this day forward,
and there to pledge you my faith
.and will always cheer on the Pitt. Steelers

I understand you have brought rings as a token of your love?
Let us pray
Bless O God these rings, that each gives, receives, and wears as a token of the covenant between them and God, and may they ever abide in thy peace, living together in unity, in love, and in happiness, and with good purpose do thy will. Amen.

Terry , will you repeat after me: With this ring, I thee wed. Let it ever be to us a symbol of our love.

Shelia , will you repeat after me: With this ring, I thee wed. Let it ever be to us a symbol of our love.

Declaration of Marriage

In as much as you, Terry , and you Sheila , have consented together in the union of matrimony
and you have pledged your faith each to the other and the Pitt Steelers in the presence of God and this company,
now by the authority vested in me as by the state of Ohio,
I now pronounce you Husband and Wife!

You may kiss your Bride!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present Mrs. Sheila and Mr.Terry ------

Would you say their steelers fans LOVE it

Jordan - LOL.

The boys grade school Principal was a HUGE Steeler's fan (we're only 8 miles as a crow flies from the Bengal's home stadium!) Every year when the 2 teams play the kids would get an Out of Uniform Day (Catholic school - OUDs are a big deal!!) to wear their Bengal's or Steeler's gear/colors. 2 years ago I wlaked into the office to see a teddy bear dressed in Steeler's tee-shirt hanging by a noose from a light fixture.

When he retired I had a crock made with a picture of the school on it (I was PTO Pres) and in the little garden next to the front doors of the school was a Go Steelers flag. lol

If you mean Beth, you are correct :p

So, we're in the process (well, Beth is, I sit here typing and rounding up the baby) of moving everything we can out of the upstairs and into a POD in our driveway so that we can get the rest of the carpet in this house ripped up and fake wood flooring put in up there. Beth's parents are buying us the floor as a gift (OMG, they rock!). When Beth gets tired, I have to take over. :( I see Motrin in my future. Maybe booze too.

Hi PIFers,
May I join your chat?

I'm Vicki, nearly 53, widow, no kids. I have been smoking off and on since I was 19. I've had a few good years of non-smoking, but trying again to kick the analogs with vaping. One of my sisters quit smoking by vaping...she was a pretty hardcore smoker and I was super impressed. I'm still using cigs; I have another sister who is staying with me temporarily and she was pretty hardcore smoker as well, I hope when she moves I can stop cigs for good. I bought her a starter kit from V4L along with some juice and she LOVES vaping and has cut back dramatically on smoking. Both of these sisters are disabled and both have COPD so our whole family is thrilled with their progress! Heh heh, we have another sister (yep, 4 girls...poor dad with all that estrogen :) but the fourth and youngest sister despises smoking. Our mother was a hardcore smoker and smoked through all four of her pregnancies. Seven years ago she died of lung cancer at age 63 :( So hopefully this will not be the fate of any of the vapin' sisters.

I love paying it forward, have privately offered help when I could and gladly accepted help when I needed it, especially when it comes to my sisters.

Sooooo, nice ta meet ya! I may have posted here before...too lazy to go and look right now...so if I have...nice ta meet ya again!!! :vapor:
