It's bloody hot so we're making lemonade for whomever decides to show up after the morning's spectacle.

So there I am running on the street after a truck w/ a bouncy-castle w/ a zoo motif in my BoSox boxers and Florida Gators shirt. *sigh*

Magnus, you are a good dad...or a big softie! Can I send my kids to visit you?

Mornin' piffers. Been a while since I've dropped in - been working 2 jobs (yay) so have been very busy - getting paid is a good thing. My girlfriend's mother passed away last Friday, I will miss her, such a sweet and wonderful person, always welcomed me as a real member of the family. It was a blessing though, she'll be free from her physical burdens on the other side. One of the siblings that came in from the midwest was a vaper - pulled out an eGo and surprised me! He went home after the funeral with the Hex Copper mod I won, really loved the 6V vape. Wondered what I was going to do with the mini pipe bomb - was a bit too macho for me
.

Sad day in Billings and surrounding area.

We still have a beautiful "Big Sky", but it seems there's been an oil spill in the Yellowstone river

Exxon's pipe that was buried under the river burst. They were able to close it off, but the damage is done. Of course, it's Saturday with no local news. Most of us just woke up wondering why the Hell everything smelled like diesel fuel. I hope nobody's dumb enough to light off the fireworks around it.

Wish me luck friends, I'm going to Tony's 20 year class reunion in a little while. I don't remember that much about school except that it was bad enough for me to drop out. Some people were really mean! Good thing I was in the class 4 years behind Tony!!

Magnus - make sure to take pictures!! I love bouncy houses - lol. Our PTO rented a couple for a reward for the kids at school - and the volunteers and I had a blast after the kids were finished and back in their classrooms. Bouncing in one can be a real work out!
I'm sure the teachers were ready to kill us - those kids were WAY hoped up after the fun. lol

Well - we hit Sams, petsmart (all the kitties and doggies avail for adoption break my heart - PLEASE spay or neuter your pet!!) and then hit Aldi's.

As I was putting the cart away DH was approached by an older gentleman - late 70's maybe. Well groomed. He asked DH if he might be interested in buying a set of golf clubs with bag for $30. he had 2 he was selling since he couldn't play anymore.

We're pretty sure he was selling them for grocery money. We don't need golf clubs per se - but Alex has outgrown mine - and I'm not kidding about this - we had exactly $30 in cash (between the 2 of us - neither of us carry much cash) - so we bought one of the sets. It was a quiet drive home.

OH, Jebus, Merry and Jose! WTF is wrong with people???? My neighor moved and rented her house out to a single mother with 3 kids...that woman hired two guys to RIP OUT ALL THE LANDSCAPING TODAY! OMG! 3 years my neighbor worked on that yard, it was STUNNING and some of those plants were her 90 year old fathers WHO HELPED HER PLANT THEM AT HER HOUSE AFTER HE DROVE THEM HERE FROM LOUISIANA! That's how I was woken up this morning, my wife bursting into our room, screaming "THEY'RE RIPPING UP ALL OF KAREN'S PLANTS, GET. UP. !!!!" So, my morning and afternoon were spent saving plants, taking them to neigbors to plant and digging holes for them in my own yard. I just got an email from Karen and she's just devastated.

So glad you've been saving the plants!

If Karen owns the house, did she give her tenant the right to do that and if not, could there be legal recourse?

What would cause a person who is renting to think they could do something like that - especially without asking!! Heck, We were afraid to hang pictures on the wall when rented.
